"Hotel in a great location if you want to be close to Cavil Ave, however it is very run down and definitely needs to be renovated. Rooms very old, 80's style and water problems in bedroom. OK for price but rooms definitely not 'homey' and you'd probably prefer to go out than stay and relax at home." - Anonymous
"We have stayed here twice before and returned for the super-central location. It's right in the heart of all the action and Fri & Sat nights are noisy, but at the same time it's an intimate place that feels like a bit of an oasis.
The standards of cleanliness have slipped a bit, and the apt we had was getting tired and run down. The new owners were pleasant & helpful, but beware, as the desk is staffed only minimal hours. Late arrivals can be tricky. If you are a 4 star vacationer, this is not the place for you. " - Anonymous

"Absolutely filthy. Carpets, dirty stained, smelly. Curtains the same. Bathroom, shower dirty, hairs in exaust, mouldy tiles. Toilet bowl stained, window broken. Bedroom, mismatched lampshades with inches of accumulated dust. Lounge, balcony door did not lock. "Fist" holes in doors. Whole apartment walls with dirty hand prints, kick marks, stains on ceiling. Awoken every morning at 6.30 by dump truck emptying bins next door. A disappointing dump. Only positive was good central location. " - colleen mcguirk
