Getting there:Please refer to Google maps or Whereis for directions. • 80km north to the Brisbane Airport • 21km South to the Gold Coast Airport From Brisbane Airport - follow Airport Drive and turn left onto the Gateway Motorway. Continue for approx. 25kms and the highway will become the Pacific Highway. Follow signs to the Gold Coast and take the Southport/Surfers Paradise exit. Follow signs to Surfers Paradise. Turn left off the Gold Coast Highway into Elkhorn Avenue, right into Surfers Paradise Boulevard, left into Cavill Avenue and continue to the end just before the mall. Turn left into Orchid Avenue and St Tropez is on the right side approx half way down the road. From Coolangatta Airport - turn left onto the Gold Coast Highway and follow the signs to Surfers Paradise. Turn right from the Gold Coast Highway into Cavill Avenue and continue to the end just before the mall. Turn left into Orchid Avenue and St Tropez is on the right side approx half way down the road.

Good location, a little tired, and access is difficult for Families with Prams or disabled as there are stairs and no lift access. But overall happy with the stay due to location in Surfers
It was a comfortable and peaceful stay, although quite roomy and clean, the appartment itself does require some attention in the area of general maintenance and upgrade of furnishings. Eg: lamps falling to pieces, sliding doors stiff and difficult to open, hood range on a precarious angle to the stove which is also quite old. There are quite a few little things that require attention. The courtyard and guest facilities were well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, my wife and I give it a seven out of ten. P.s: why don't the ratings accompanying this review go up to good and very good? We would have otherwise marked Good overall for the Breakfree St Tropez Surfers Paradise

Nice hotel
Although in central area, there was no street noise heard in the room. Not a plush hotel but good for its cost.
Hotel in a great location if you want to be close to Cavil Ave, however it is very run down and definitely needs to be renovated. Rooms very old, 80's style and water problems in bedroom. OK for price but rooms definitely not 'homey' and you'd probably prefer to go out than stay and relax at home.
We have stayed here twice before and returned for the super-central location. It's right in the heart of all the action and Fri & Sat nights are noisy, but at the same time it's an intimate place that feels like a bit of an oasis. The standards of cleanliness have slipped a bit, and the apt we had was getting tired and run down. The new owners were pleasant & helpful, but beware, as the desk is staffed only minimal hours. Late arrivals can be tricky. If you are a 4 star vacationer, this is not the place for you.

My partner and I were very pleased with our stay at St Tropez. It is in a fabulous location, close to the mall, the nightlife and the beach. It had all the necessary facilities and had friendly and prompt service. Awesome.
Very good value!
Refrigerater in kitchen very bad condition. In the Laundry Washing machine very noisy and the Dryer sounded terrible with a dreadfull clunking sound. Not happy about these whiteware goods condition at all.
I think that the reception hours should beopen longer especially on the weekends.
It is located in the heart of Surfer's Paradise with convenient access to the beach. But the apartment furniture was old and worn out/broken. There was no air conditioning (most apartments did not have it) and it was really hot inside even with the fans running.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and Garry was very helpful (as were all the staff). Nice rooms and good facilities.

Nice apartment, the best location, centre of surfer paradise, close to all activity, so wonderful..... I will be back again next summer...…
