Handy to airport - would be only reason for staying here. Overpriced. Reception woman on arrival cold and unfriendly (well, to us two females - she was much more smiley to our male companion!!). Complimentary pick-up from airport is much appreciated - but we waited 35 minutes for him to arrive (despite the hotel saying they are "only 7km away - the shuttle will leave in a few minutes to get you - allow time for you to get your bags")!! Room large and comfortable enough. Restaurant dated and overpriced (a ridiculous $18 each for continental breakfast).
Great location if you are leaving from airport.

Great stay thanks.
Service desk gave excellent advice. Free shuttle to airport and we called for a shuttle back to the hotel, as our daughter was the one flying out. Found a used elastoplast under a bed, not so good. Breakfast menu looked very affordable, although we didn't stay. Great place to stay prior to flying. Wake-up call on the knocker.
It was OK but over priced really and a bit tired
We chose this hotel because of its location. Very close to the airport and a free shuttle for our very early check-in. We were on the first floor and there was no elevator - pretty inconvenient specially for elderly visitors. A pretty high price but we had a comfortable stay.
Chosen for its close proximity to airport and shuttle service (even for flight arrivals past midnight). Tho' pricing comparatively high (in Wellington) for a 3 star. Initially overcharged at checkout (2 nights instead of one). Rectified when questioned. Then, the pre-paid ($A) deposit deducted in $NZ from rate. When mentioned this, was told it worked out about the same??!! (actually a slight difference of approx $NZ5 - no biggie but...) Tired, we paid and left. Found a lovely German bakery nearby and a cafe serving hearty & delicious breakfasts at good prices - (compared to hotel).
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed during the Wellington 7s rugby weekend, so the price was a bit "up there" but acceptable. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was lovely and we had a nice relaxing time around the pool.
Got 2 rooms at very cheap rate for a Sunday night ($69). Really good value for money. Also ate in restaurant which was good wholesome food. Would thoroughly recommend at these rates.
We found the room was very roomy & clean with a great modern bathroom. The hotel was a mainly quiet area apart from the odd plane flying over. Recommended.
Fantastic experience, we will definitely be back and recommend this to friends and family. You took very good care of us the night before we went into the hospital, excellent location for Wellington Hospital.
A great place to stay when flying out from Wellington airport, location excellent and pretty quiet also.
A good place to base yourself in Wellington. If you need more than tea & coffee, make sure you book a room with a kitchen (we didn't & regretted it)
Good to see the outside being painted it was in bad need of it. The place could do with some good landscaping though. But over all the room was nice and clean and served it purpose.
Staff are always most helpful and courteous. The locationis handy to the airport so great for those early/late flights. Being an older hotel it can be noisy especially as it caters well for groups/seminars. You can hear people operting the shower next door or coming and going late at night/early in the morning.
room was more than adequate with two single beds and one queen - ideal for a family; shuttle to airport was extremely convenient; close to marina; close to simple shopping precinct; althought babysitting was advertised in the compendium, none was available.
The shuttle location of this Wellington hotel is pleasantly quiet, and the free shuttle service to the airport excellent. The food in the restaurant is of good quality.
This is a very serviceable "airport" hotel. I would recommend it to people wanting an efficient transfer to the Wellington hotel.
Quiet location. Need a car to get to town. Would stay again
Was stuck in one of the back rooms which while okay, did not leave me wanting to spend a lot of time in it. As usual the service was excellent and the meals were rather good this time.
