Great place to stay if you are passing through HK or staying a couple of weeks. It's close to public transport, helpful and friendly staff, very clean and nicely arranged rooms for the space they have to work with. Do not be surprised the rooms are tiny but have all the trimmings (extra blankets, kettle, mugs, tea, free water bottles etc). Great value, I'd definitely book again.
Hotel is in the budget bracket, and is good value. Room is small, but adequate for sleeping purposes, and shower facilities decent. Location good for metro, and the walk to and from the hotel is short but interesting, as it highlights traditional Hong Kong.
This property offers you 86 rooms, which are stylishly furnished and carefully designed with all the necessary facilities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Although the room is really compact and small, but its enough for 2 people stay in one standard room. 2 single beds room make the room even smaller, so 1 double bed room will have more space (at least on the bed). The price is really worth for what you're paying.. so do not expect much (especially the size). Nevertheless, the hotel room is very clean, room facilities are sufficient, and overall we had a pleasant stay.
very small room not suitable for medium and large build person. water pressure plays up all the times, you may get very hot water and very cold water within 30 seconds. location and price are good.
We had a twin-bedroom for 2 people. The price we paid for this hotel is very very cheap. But the hotel room is also very very small. The bathroom sink is virtually set right on top of the toilet, and the toilet is 3 inches from the wall. It is a challenge to make your way to the toilet. But the upside is the shower is separated from the toilet area. There is no room for luggage. My 8 year old and I shared one backpack and we had to put it on the bed in order to get the stuff out of it. The room is quite clean and the beds are comfortable but small. If the size is not a concern, and you are not too tall, then this is a good value hotel.
I think this is one of the cheapest hotel that can offer the facilities at this rate. Overall, if travel alone and you can order a double bed room which is quite OK if you are on shoe string budget. For me, I just spent a night before departing to Guangzhou so, a place to sleep one night which costs less than HKD500 is decent, in HK standard.
avg, but good location
room was very small, but it is fine if you will only return late to the room to sleep.
Rooms are really Small. Good for transiting passengers or people on the move who do not stay much in the hotel. I liked the Common Microwave facility on the floor.
A guest house with very small room, but okay in terms of price and location. If you like to shop for electronics stuff in Shamshuipo, this hotel is not a bad choice.
Good place for stay given the price and near local shopping (Streets [Electronics/Computer/Clothings]/ Wholesale[Clothing/Toys/Stationary]), Good varity of local food at a resonable price. Free Internet (which is not available in many larger hotels) Laundrette is very near. Had a Restaurent but I find we hardly need it. Cons: Rooms are small and larger build person may find difficult to move in the toilet.
Location is 10 minutes walk from the nearest mtr station (sham sui po). The room is so small, people have to side step to move around the room. TV channels are limited to only four channels and not one is an English channel. But the room is very clean, complete with facilities including internet.
Rooms are very small
room really too small! One must remain in bed when the other is out, or must go outside the room. No place for luggage.
Room 1,6m x 1,8m = 2,88m2, "hall" - 1m2, bathroom - 1,5m2. All of "apartment" - 5,5m2 !!! Absolutly terrible, I'm never been in something small like this, only for cabin fever fanatics. I'm NOT recommend.
I had to look for a hotel in Sham Shui Po because the purpose of my trip was to purchase materials for my business. The Bridal Tea House was a pleasant surprise in terms of location and cleanliness. I just hoped that they had bigger rooms..... am willing to pay extra for a bigger room.
