For this price, its pretty good. Small but clean, has everything you need for a nights' stay. Location is fabulous, cheap eats and nearby bus and MTR. Though, a bit noisy in the morning outside, our room was right by the lift so we can hear people on and off in the morning as well. Otherwise, not a bad place for a cheap stay.
Excellent value for money. The room was clean and very well maintained and quiet but for the elevator noise. Unfortunately all rooms are grouped around the the elevator lobby and every time the lift stops at a floor there is an unnecessary and loud "ding-dong" heard within the room. None of the staff spoke more than very basic English so an interpreter had to be called over the phone for any detailed discussion.
Rooms are clean and comfortable environment with sufficient light, daily room cleaning service and provide 24 hours service.
It's a very good budget hotel. The room desigh very comfotable and romantic. Only the location quite far for MRT station and mongkok ladies streets. Easy find a cheap chinese food.
(1) The room is too narrow, especially the double bed is too narrow. (2) The temperature is cold during the time we stayed in HK, but there was no any heaters to warm our room. (3) Their service attitude is not as warm as i expected
The room is pretty much like what you can see from their website. Nicely decorated, the room is exactly what I've hoped. Although the room is small, I guess it's pretty much about the same in HK unless you're staying in some 5 star hotel. The price per night is also very affordable. You'll find a hair dryer (essential for me). almost everything you need in the room. What's amazing is the shower! You can adjust for a steam session after a tiring day shopping out there. Location wise, I would say it's abit off from the main streets/attractions like in Mongkok. U gotta walk about 10-15 mins along Anchor St that leads to Mongkok Rd. The Bridal Tea House on Achor St (also Tai Kok Tsui) is a better choice. Transportation is easy to get. Either you walk to to the Olympic MTR (nearer but u gotta change lines if u are going to Mongkok, Yaumatei, Jordan or TST) or Mongkok MTR. I would strongly recommend my friends to stay in Bridal Tea House. It's a good bargain.
The 'rooms' are truly miniscule - only about 10 percent bigger than the bed.
The location is not in the very center, but close enough to the metro station, and you can find cheap restaurants near the hotel. Don't judge the hotel by the street - the street is terrible so I was a bit worried at first. The room was quite well planned, with that I mean sufficient space and electric sockets near a mirror (for the ladies like me who needs hair tools..). The bathroom was nice too, but we had problems with the hot water and this was really the only disadvantage with the room. You need to press a heater button 10 min prior to taking a shower, but even after 30 min the water is only lukewarm... I don't know if this is a problem in the whole hotel or only in our room. Well, the bed was rather small for two persons. I was with my boyfriend so it was ok, but I wouldn't like sleeping that close to anyone else. In general, you get good value for your money!
Room was tiny. Could put my palms flat against both side walls and my feet hung a foot off the end of the bed. Could only open my suitcase on the bed there was no other space large enough. No closet, TV didn't work, no soap or shampoo, bring your own. tiny bathroom and shower.
1) Even the taxi driver does not know the street name and the hotel. It was located between workshops that makes it unpleasant when getting out or into the hotel. 2) Was suprised to be told that the 2 complimentary bottled drinks were only provided once regardless on the number of days stayed. 3) Although the room was not spacious, I would say that it was complete, comfortable and reasonable in price.
The reception staff during check-in were very confused and not very pleasant whilst attempting to confirm arrangements with [your website]. The booking arrangements between [your website] and the hotel itself should be much more clearer to the reception staff. We had to wait 30 minutes to check-in because of at least 5-6 phone calls the lady had to make. Please can you make effort to correct this bridge. Otherwise, the porter and the secondary staff at the hotel were very friendly and courteous. Excellent location for the hotel, though the road on which it is located is a bit shanty. The room was very well lit and sufficiently roomy for us, coming from the UK. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Kowloon.
