Brisbane Riverview Hotel

Top hotel, always enjoy our stay there.

I was most surprised. The View is to take your breath away. The Price is in line with what it has to offer. The accomodation and service...well worth the price.

Very comfortabl hotel, staff great. Close to airport, well priced. Would stay here again.

I would have preferred separate shower recess rather than shower over bath. Like many hotels there is no exhaust fan in bathroom or room deodorizer provided. Shortage of accessible power points in room. Wireless internet access charges expenses - $14.50 for one hour so we didn't use it. Air conditioner did not seem to respond to control on wall or bedside switches to change temperature so we turned it off. This all sounds negative but we enjoyed our stay and staff were efficient and friendly. We would probably choose somewhere else to stay next time.

Absolutely beautiful view of the Brisbane River...Staff are excellent

It was situated in the perfect postion for our needs, I thought the full rate would have been over the top as the place is starting to look tired. It still has the old powerhouse decor.

Located a 20 min walk to ferry stop, and out of town so not a place to stay unless you have a need to be in the immediate vicinity if you don't have your own transport. Food quite expensive. Room a good size and clean, quite 'old worlde'.

I had a late check in and nothing was a problem. Quiet rooms with lots of space, comfy bed and a good shower! Will stay again.

There was not the desk in the room. It was not convenient to do the job in the room.

truely wonderful hotel. lovely, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Top class. Ideal for a trip to the Albion Park Harness Racing (Sat nights or Tuesday afternoons). Also recommend Silks restaurant at the Albion Park track. We didn't try the Riverview restaurant, but it looks nice, and our room service breakfast was excellant. One of our favourite hotels. you will not be dissappointed. Specifiy a river view (extra charge) well worth the bit extra.

Pleasantly surprised. Much cheaper than the "majors" in the Brisbane and definitely better value for the money. Actually easier to get to than most in the city centre and no one way systems or city traffic to stressover prior to check in. Only 10 mins drive from city and handy for the airport too. Also a very good sized room which was bigger than standard. Friendly service. No hidden extras and really handy parking also included free which was easily accessible. All things considered , I would stay there again. This hotel should be on the "recommended" list on the web pages because it is definitely better than some you recommend.

I have been staying at this hotel for almost 10 years and it is always a pleasant stay. Good service, good food, pleasant staff, good rooms and a relaxed warm atmosphere. I wlll stay again.

While we were there, there was a severe storm that damaged the hotle and caused flooding. The staff were exceptionally professional and calm, making sure that the comfort of the guests was not disturbed.
