"Real a bad deal for the money, staff was unhelpful and surly except for the first woman at the reception when I checked in, she did find me a non smoking room which was ready, otherwise the staff didnt care and nothing got done when requested, no service whatsoever and staff behaved as guests were more of an pain than anything else. Noisy room too!" - Dee Schmidt-Pedersen
"Very old rooms and furniture. Definately a no frills hotel. Close to Camden and average priceing." - Anonymous
"The hotel had an unkempt feel and generally seemed run down- dirty windows facing the street, curtains askew facing the street etc.
Reception staff seemed disinterested. Room was adequate but very old fashioned with floral everything )totally unmatched) and a tv that someone seemed to have wheeled in from a front room somewhere! Heating turned off at mignight - what happens if you need to work after that? My colleague was freezing all night although I was ok. Breakfast was nice - a fair amount of choice, and the prince was right so perhaps I expect too much for 3 star?? If there had been another hotel in the area we would have moved. " - Anonymous
"Appallingly uncomfortable bed with visible springs and definite sag!! Room size good, furnishings old and cheap looking, no double glazing?? Breakfast adequate but not great - lacking service and table clearing. Very good price but would not be tempted to use again." - Anonymous
