"Made the mistake of booking a room on a smoking floor -which I didnt know existed any more and didnt realise until the second night.
Very stale samell and run down
the lifts were very very slow and the reception staff made mistakes and when challenged -didnt seem bothered.
rooms have round pin sockets so had to search for a socket to recharge my phone. The door into the hotel was very stiff to revolve and saw several elderlt people struggle with it
Felt grubby." - Anonymous
"Nice hotel in the center of the city. Near New Streeet railway station. Good choice. " - Anonymous
"Great Location for the station and central Birmingham. Rooms are ok but both they and the hotel itself have seen better days. Beds are a bit too soft and the bathrooms a little "quaint" but if you can get a good deal on the price it is an excellent base to have for any visit to Birmingham" - Andrew Barnes
