"a very basic room, had seen better days but would have to say the service from the staff was very good apart from the new girl on the desk, why employ people who dont know the area, cant speak english and dont know how to to work the till or give a recipt... oh yes they can smile!" - A M CANNELL
"This Hotel urgently requires a refurbishment.
The rooms are noisy
Plumbing noisy
Rain poured in through the window frames and made a waterfall on the inside window cill
These things were all reported to reception but appeared to land on geaf ears" - Peter ODDY
"The hotel rooms need a good re-fit. The bathroom was full of rust looking stuff around the bath and toilet. The bed was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs. The light shades were dusty and in need of new ones. The whole hotel could do with a new lick of paint" - Heather Cunane
"The hotel is obviously in need of a face-lift, as it is rather runned down ! However, they compensate with their good front desk service and decent food at the restaurant ( both breakfast and dinner ). It is about 10 mins. walking distance to the pier and park,
and there's ample multi-storey parking space at the hotel.
Price-wise, would rate as average, since the rooms are small, and
with windows opened during summer, the traffic noise does come through ! Would recommend not to stay more than 1 night, if modern comforts is your priority. " - Anonymous
