Britannia Sachas Hotel Manchester

An old hotel but a clean one. In heart of Manchester city center.

I have stayed in this hotel several times, and always make it my first preference if it is available when making a booking for somewhere to stay in Manchester.

Good location easy to find if coming from Piccadilli station.However we were in a car.went to sister hotel and received a very poor small map as a result we spent 30mins trying to find hotel in one way systems(not recomended).on finally finding the hotel we find there is no car parkink and had to pay £17 to park for 24 hrs not impressed as nothing is said about this in hotel description,Stayed 2 nights hotel ok however Sunday night fire alarm went of at 03.20 and upset otherwise a nice weekend break

single budget room was a bit small - but well apointed, no window but i only stayed there overnight so it was ok free wifi internet was very good

mix up at check in but soon sorted nice friendly staff will be back again when i need accomodation in manchester ideal location for meeting and shopping thank you

Situated just off off picadilly city centre away from road traffic, so a quite stay .

Very centrally located, got a deal on the net, I would have been a little disappointed if I had to pay the full asking price.

very good location.was in an internal room with no windows ,room was very nice and big ,also a pool sauna in the basement

I was please to have a outer room (with window) this time, instead of a stuffy internal room, however, i think the aircondition is in need of a good repair, as our window room got cold and I had to use a portable fan heater (supplied). Overall, a pleasuable stay!!

I was slightly apprehensive about staying at Sachas having read other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very good and the staff could not have been more helpful. A very good central place to stay.

A old hotel but perfect location.

We arrived early, the reception was very helpful, stored our luggage till rooms were ready, giving us chance to view the vicinity, of which was superb, 2 minutes walk into the centre of the city, and a tram station within the same distance. The bed had a problem, with one phone call, the Manageress attended, and a New bed was brought up to the room, great nights sleep etc.

an excelent hotel would stay there again the staff very friendly and very helpful excelent location just by the shopping centre.

Hotel is handy for the shops and nightlife, but the rooms were bad.

Good value for money ! Central location 2 minutes from tram and piccadilly. Worn down rooms. Nice breakfast for 5 Pounds ! Would stay there again !

This was a nice hotel to stay in - very central and with a good breakfast!

Very friendly staff and helpful too. Was told while checking in that the lift was out of order but I could use the service lift but used the stairs, also was given a printed map on how to get to where I was going and directions. Only bad point was that the picture on the tv was that good but a very nice place. If going back to Manchester I'll be staying here again as its well situated.

Great location in central Manchester. Staff polite. Good breakfast.

Very central location so its good, and can be good value. Downsides are some rooms with no windows and facilities that dont work (lifts etc). Also, the Breakfast buffet is quitelimited. This hotel is aimed for staying on a work trip or busy weekend, but not suited for relaxing holiday in my opinion.

It's a good place in a good location, if you need to stay in the Manchester City! However, a little expensive... Breakfast not included...
