Brittany Hotel Paris

A lovely small hotel adjacent an underground station and within easy walking of tourist locations and major shopping! Many good bars and restaurants nearby offering very good food at good prices. Very friendly and helpful English speaking reception staff. Rooms with ensuite newly renovated although small, but adequate. Lack of free internet is a negative. Breakfast was adequate but nowhere near the usual standard of baguettes and croissant etc. that I have enjoyed in France, the breakfast area too small for the number of guests using it, but that may change as they are doing renovations on that floor of the building. There is a lift for use by guests. Certainly recommended as a tourist hotel.

We stayed at the Brittany on two occasions, and found the rooms to be poorly lit. Nathalie, on the front desk, provided excellent customer service and went out of her way to follow up our enquiries.

The rooms were a little small but recently renovated. The hotel is located in a truly Parisian area and it is very close to the metro. Well worth the stay.

Very good quality/price ratio, very friendly and hospitable staff, good location, I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Good value for money.The staff,with one exception,were courteous and helpful.But---I've seen the smallest lift in Europe-literally smaller than a telephone kiosk.The absence of a minibar or some facility to keep water,drinks etc. cool was a big minus.A bar was listed in the hotel facilities,but it was never open-renovations we were told,though we saw no evidence of work going on.

The rooms have the average Parisian size: rather small. They have a quiet air conditioning system though and the beds are good. The breakfast is reasonable (cold buffet with French bread, cheese, jam, ham etc.). Location is close to a subway stop (Notre Dame Lorette, line 12) and nice restaurants (in the rue des martyrs). Price differs depending on the days of the week, we had a special offer.

Breakfast is reasonably good, but breakfast area can be busy. Several different metro lines are easily within walking distance and a great range of restaurants and bars are nearby.

What a gem!

Great Location, Excellent staff especially Natalie the receptionist & Abou the lovely breakfast queen. Breakfast was plenty. Rooms were small but very cosy. Staff always went out of their way to make our stay pleasant & were kind to book our next hotel in the next city.
