An excellent secure place for a family holiday with a 2 minute walk to the beach. Good on-site sporting facilities and extensive BBQ sites provided. Good value for the money.

Slightly dated, reception staff were not very friendly or apologetic when our room was not available for check in - 2 hours later!! Good amenities for familes and children ...

Good location, close to beach and about 6km to Busso centre. Rooms are a tad basic (oldish tv and radio clock, clothes hanging space limited, lacking enough power points, some noisy kids late at night prior to my race...i had to be up a 4am); on the plus side, the rooms are good sized, clean in every respect, the bed was comfy, bathroom and water pressure good, and the patio ( i was on the ground floor) was sizeable. Friendly staff, food was ok( i only had dinner there once), and parking was easy. As an Ironman participant, I think this was a great base for 4 days, and would book it again. Perhaps if I had my family along this would be a bit too small for us an might opt to rent a house. Price is quite high, but then again, this was a peak and some 1500 Ironman participant came into town. In that context and for my purposes, i would rate this an 7.5/10, above avg to good. Thanks.

Getting a little tired and needs some new furniture/airconditioning getting old and noisy. But lovely location, kids love it!!

Have stayed at Broadwater many times and love it. Great for the kids. Very dissapointed that Stilts Restaurant was closed for meals.

Resort is begining to show its age. Furniture and fittings need updating. Inhouse restaurant does not bill to rooms, doing so would be helpful.

Was nicely located as a base to look around the region … Nice Restaurant, Indoor Pool and beach area. The apartment badly needed the carpet cleaning due to the wild life in the trees outside depositing onto the ground. The apartment was acceptable and WELL used maybe due for an upgrade.

The resort was very clean and tidy and offered good facilities for kids at ages 9-12. The rooms were very nice and suited the purpose. I missed foxtel being available and an internet location on the resort to have communication for mail and net access as like many others I run a business and while away we still need to be able to access these everyday. This i'm sure is something that is asked by others. We would return as it was very good.

Although a bit old it is still a reasonable hotel to stay in. Nice facilities and excellect access to beach areas.

Reception staff very untrained. Were not able to give us internet access for laptop. When questioned about location of Abbey Beach resort where we were attending a conference, staff told us it was 5km away, when in actual fact it was 3 doors down - a walkway along the beach actually gave excellent access to the other hotels nearby. Reception also could not provide a telephone number for a taxi service. Reception desk not available after 7pm at night. Staff in restaurant very friendly but eaqually inexperienced. Could be quite a pleasant middle of the road hotel with some serious staff training.

a really nice place to stay if you can afford it. definately recommend booking over the internet with [your website], saved 65% which we would otherwise not have been able to afford.

The location being right on the beach was excellent. The set out of the three bedroom appartments suited us admirably. The grounds was very well kept and looked good in all its colour. Would recommend this hotel to groups, families.

The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to help me with some additional requests for my room.
