"It ranks as a 5 star but I would only give it a 4 star. A non smoking room means they just remove the ashtrays from the room. They were eager to help when things went wrong but in 2 separate rooms the 1st one the tv was broken so they upgraded our room, in the second room the internet cable was broken for most of our stay. In my books a 5 star hotel should mean free internet, they really charge a lot per day for the internet." - Terri Kim Mason

The hotel is one of the 14 European architectural buildings from the 1920's and 1930's on the bund. It had been renewed with modern facilities as well as elegant flavor of an old hotel in 2007. The hotel also has a variety of facilities and services that are sure to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers. There are 245 rooms and suites.
