An older B & B with comfy beds and clean bathroom facilities, adequate breakfast, laundry facility for use and kitchen to use if required. The host Judy is friendly, helpful and has an excellent knowledge on the history of NZ and in particular Kiakoura including Whale Watching and other activities. At first when entering the B&B via the front door one stops and wonders as the entrance needs some tender love and care but once you are there it is adequate, clean and very hospitable. Value for money.

Received a very warm welcome on arrival by our hostess Judy who went out of her way to make us feel at home. Added bonus was the aroma of freshly baking muffins which we were served within 10-15 minutes of our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for our hostess who was a wealth of knowledge and information. Thanks to her I saw a colony of baby seals which I wouldnt have known about and has provided a lasting memory.

We had a fantastic time at Brook House, brilliant serviceminded Judy- who puts her guests and dog and cats as number one. Very nice to feel at home away from home.

You have got to stay here. It's a cute place- just like home! Judy is lovely. The place is immaculately clean. Great kitchen for you to cook in. The homemade muffins are to die for as is the breakfast! Whale watching place is only a few minutes drive- a must.
