A good city center based hotel
realy good hotel 2stay in stay there every time in leeds highly recomended!!!!!
Good and very friendly service. Hotel well run. Rooms small but very clean. On the negative side, ill-fitting double glazing meant rooms suffered with a lot of external noise. I asked to change rooms on arrival because of that - the staff were very obliging but the second room was not a great improvement. Take earplugs and everything else makes the hotel a good recommendation.
Excellence service and location. I am a bit disappointed to find that the television doesn't have a subtitle facitilies including. Please could you provide a subtitle tv when requested from a deaf person using the room. Thanks.
Postive: Well positioned in Leeds City centre. Room nice and clean. Cheap Negative: Room quite small and old fashioned Springy bed Lots of evening/night time noise from mainly loud drunks on pavement below and trafic, in need of noise insulation/decent double glazing. AC cooling no working, only fan, chiller likely to be switched off to save energy/costs.
Although the room was very small and furniture was not so new, it was quite clean and tidy. Staff were very kind and helpful as well. The hotel is located at the heart of Leeds, so I could manage to commute all the places that I had to easily. So, this hotel earned ever p I paid.
My service rating is only average, because overall the reception and the breakfast staff were very good, but the evening meal service was very bad
Very friendly staff, always happy to help. Buffet breakfast - good value. Good location.
This hotel was ok for an overnight stay. It's not in a very nice area but convenient for the city centre.
Check-in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful and friendly
The best factor about this hotel is its location. It is literally five minutes walk from two shopping centers in the center of Leeds. The reception can get you a taxi in less than five minutes. The hotel has an good restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. However, I could not find any laundry facilities - a minor annoyance for me.
The hotel is centrally located with reasonable price. However, it will be better if improvements could be made on the following aspects: 1. A small fridge can be added to each room, 2. Room key can be replaced by a key card, 3. All credit cards can be used for the payment for using the computer in the lobby on the 1/F (as now only those credit cards issued by the European countries can be used).
Very nice, modern well-kept room but it looked and felt as if it had not been hoovered for a week or more when I arrived - and it was not done for my second night there. The bathroom, however, was spotless. Generally, a very nice hotel with good service, good breakfast, nice newly furbished rooms. Only downside was the dirty carpet.
The room was too hot! It's incredible that we had no free internet access. This situation is - from my experience - exclusive to UK hotels. All the other countries throughout EU offer to the hotel clients free access to internet.
The service varied on the two nights stay. As younger guests arrived on the second night there was a distinct drop in quality The car park fees and voucher were very confusing at this "caught out" most guests. The hotel appears to have lost its edge in customer service
Close to the University of Leeds and excelent shopping facilities
Got to the hotel at around 7.00pm and there was no room booked for me, along with two other guests that arrived around the same time. I eventually got a room allocated to me at 8.30pm. What more can I say...
The food in the hotel was absolutely dire; self-service breakfast was tepid - and this was just after the they started serving. Food in the evening was also tepid and they were 'out' of quite a few items on the menu. The management clearly don't eat there, probably at a MacDonalds round the corner, where the cuisine would be better. Serving staff were excellent, however.
Clean, comfortable perfect for a short stay in leeds
