A stunning hotel in a spectacular Wicklow valley, just one hour from South Dublin. The Strawberry Tree restaurant serves organic and wild foods in dramatic surroundings and our new Spa – The Wells – is probably Irelands’ most luxurious. Macreddin Village hosts Acton’s Country Pub and Brewery, The Orchard Café, an organic bakery and smokehouse, food & wine shops, equestrian and clay shooting centres. 15 minutes from Glendalough, Ballykissangel and great golf courses. Getting there:
Directions From Dublin Airport Take M1 South Towards Dublin. On M1 Take Exit For M50-Dublin Ring Road-and Keep On M50 Until You See Signs For N11. Travel The N11 Southbound Until You Reach Rathnew. Take The R752 From Rathnew To Rathdrum And The R753 To Aughrim. At Aughrim Follow The Signs For 3km To Macreddin Village.

I had a wonderful stay at Brook Lodge The food and service was wonderful I felt lunch was overpriced inth orchard cafe and I also was disappointed that we were unable to have any treatments eventhough we tried to book early Saturday morning

The staff at Brooklodge manage to provide a 5* service whilst retaining a very homely relaxed feel at the hotel. There is currently building work on new rooms & the golf course which is creating some disruption & noise but this is minimal. I also did not like the dark decor in the dining room but this is personal taste and the meal was superb. I will definitely look forward to returning to Brooklodge.
