"Next door to a hostal with large crowd outside drinking and singing until the early hours of the morning.The hotel closed an alternative door in the early evening so I felt very uncomfortable entering or leaving the hotel. The breakfast was served by people who had very little knowledge of the english language. The late evening desk staff where very helpful.Found the area ,although central ,in a hostel orientated area. I had just toured Europe and that gave me a good basis of comparison and the room was definately overpriced . There was no lift so unsuitable for anyone carrying suitcases upstairs, no help offered." - lesley edwards

Browns Hotel offers Georgian Elegance and a warm Irish welcome in the heart of Dublin City. At Browns, you will find a refreshing combination of old and new with its gallery lounge, choice furniture and spacious bedrooms all enveloped in atmospheric surroundings. Opened in the spring of 2001, the new contemporary design blends well with this classical building.
Each of the hotel's 22 bedrooms are tastefully decorated, every room imaginatively mirroring the georgian feel of the original building. All rooms are ensuite with t.v., direct dial telephone and hair-dryers.
Browns Hotel features an extensive range of artist's Paddy Lennon's paintings. The spacious lounges and bright airy rooms provide the perfect backdrop to showcase his exceptional paintings. |
