Excellent location. Surrounded by Shops and restaurants and very near the Duomo, Palazzo Vechio etc. Within walking distance to all places of interests. Very comfortable and clean room.
the cooking smells from the kitchen were a bit intrusive in our bedroom.
Great location , very easy to walk to all major points of interest , room was comfortable if a little noisy late at night but only to be expected - staff were very efficient and friendly - good value , would stay there again when visiting Florence
This hotel wins on location - once you find it! I have stayed here twice and even with GPS the second time, it was not easy to find by car. However being able to call back at the hotel during the daytime sweltering heat of August was a real advantage. The bedroom on this visit was probably the smallest in the hotel with a view of the wall of the building opposite. I would imagine that the beds when the hotel building was a prison were just as hard. After three days we asked to be moved. The second room was much larger and far more comfortable although the view was onto the outside area of the Housekeepers room - nice view of washing lines. The bedrooms could do with a little attention although the public areas are nicely decorated. I will probably try somewhere else next time I visit Florence.
Absolutely awesome hotel. Fantastic location. Great rooms. Breakfast was delicious. Service at breakfast was fantastic although reception service was not very good. Would definitely recommend.
Very central location but at the same time noisy till midnight due to the activities around. Very comfortable and rooms are cleaned twice a day, sheets are changed every day.
Very nice location and a charming hotel. Only one thing negative is the room near the street is noisy in the evening.
One of the very nicest hotels in Florence, where I shall cenrtainly go back whenever I can.
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location in the center of the historical city. Rooftop terrace had spectacular views of the city. Staff was very helpful and gracious. Breakfast was nice. Our 4th floor room had nice views as well. Would definately stay again and recommend to others.
The room was TINY and certainly not of a four star hotel standard. Gloomy brown colours, dated furniture, minimal facilities in room and bathroom, bad taste in general. No internet connection in room, no WiFi in library but only in the bar area where crouds were drinking and making noise. Breakfast very poor, not even a fresh juice! The only good thing was the restaurant with good quality food and service. Expensive for the facilities and service provided. I would not chose this hotel again and I shall not reccommend it to others even though the location is good.
A superbly located hotel, very efficient, very clean with friendly staff and a superb breakfast. would highly recommend
Location could not have been better and hotel staff always helpful. Breakfast could have been more exciting!
A very nice hotel, wtih helpful staff, and a great location. Hope to return again and again.
Excellent central location, close to Duomo, easy few minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi. & other major sites. We stayed in room 402 which was light & sunny, very quiet & had a lovely view over rooftops. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good bathroom (shower). Very helpful staff. Travel tip, pre book Uffizi & Accademia to avoid queues- hotel can do that. Would stay at Brunelleschi Hotel again.
Very central hotel; very clean. Nice quiet room even though it is right in the heart of the city yards from the Duomo. The staff were very helpful too. Excellent breakfast. It is so central to most things that if you have a car you won't need it, there is a charge for parking.
Great location, staff very helpful, good breakfast. Would stay there again.
Very well situated in the centre of Florence. Staff are very freindly.
This hotel IS an incredible medieval tower tastefully restored and right in the center of town, 2 blocks from the Duomo. Because it is on a side street, most rooms don't have a view, but the big bonus (and secret from what I could tell) is the hotel rooftop, which is open to all guests, that has a 360 degree view of Florence. I would stay again.
Excellent location. Right near to the Duomo. Staff are very friendly. One must not miss the view from the rooftop, particularly in the evening!
staff very helpful and happy were always ready to recommend a place and give any help.
