Rooms are spacious but interior decor dates back to 80ies. If you are lucky you get one of the renovated rooms. As long as you pay less than 100 Euro it's a fine deal. Easy reach by public transport (stop Vleurgat by tram 94 and bus 38 & 60 - right opposite Blue Tower in Avenue Louise). Friendly staff.
The older half of the hotel is very different from the newer part and contains some unusual split level rooms. Though large, these are not as well maintained as the newer section.
Conveniently located for the Europe Management Centre and the great shopping in the area. The service was excellent - especially the arrangement of taxis. Breakfast was a wide choice and good value.
Room was very old-fashioned and not in a very good condition (wallpaper, floor, etc), but it was quite big. The reception employees are very professional, the breakfast (not included in the price) is very good and complete.
Excellent size room, clean and tidy, but could do with a lick of paint. However, this didn't detract from the comfortable beds and the good location, with a tram directly outside the Hotel to take us to Louise to get the metro to the Grand Place.
Very good place to stay, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. We will stay there again in the future.
The bathroom needed to be updated otherwise quite reasonable
A little bit off the beaten track if your unfamiliar with brussels - but very good value pricewise with quite large rooms. Friendly staff and good breakfast
Hotel may require a slight renovation, especially old-fashioned curtains and beds that appear too soft, but again this is subjective opinion. Overall I enjoyed the stay with very good breakfasts and excellent location of the Brussels hotel. Would stay again there.
Well situated for the side of town we were visiting but a bit out from the the centre. Tram stop outside was convenient but made rooms at the front a little noisy. Not much choice of restaurants within walking distance. 13 Euros for breakfast on the high side but there is a cafe over the road where a good one can be had for 5 Euros.
Everything feels a bit dated...but the rooms are huge.
The location is a little far from the centre of the city, but on the plus side, tram 94 stopped right outside the hotel. The neighbourhood was also very safe. The reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean and spacious.
Their rooms are great clean spacious comfy; and the desk staff are great. They called the Hop on Hop off Tour group and had them pick me up they bent over backward to make me feel at home and help me get my bearings in this so much to see City
Avenue Louise 315 is almost 2 kilometres away from subway station Louise. You can go by tram 94, it is five stops, and the tram runs frequently. The room was very large, but the sheets had holes, the shower curtain had an open seam at the bottom and the curtains in the room were grey instead of white. The bathroom had separate toilet, which had some leftover pipes sticking out of the wall from some different previous architectural arrangement, and a door leading to a funny dark space with showing more pipes of the hotel. The breakfast was 13 Euros extra, and for those who just want a coffee and a croissant, there was no possibility either inside the hotel or nearby to get that at a lower price. During the 2 days of my stay, the hotel bar was constantly closed.
Very large rooms and clean. I thought the price very cheap for the room size. There are convenience stores around and nice restuarants near-by. There is a local train station right by the hotel. Good choice compared to the other hotels that I stayed in Brussel in the same price range.
the price didn't include the parking and the breakfast, to pay them for 2 persons we can find a better hotel for the same price ( 55 + 15 parking + 14x2 breakfast = 98 eoros) ?????
Great hotel at great prices. Big clean rooms with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Decent breakfast and good service in English. Would recommend to others as a good location hotel, although a bit out of the city has easy and frequent access to the tram system.
Staff is very polite. Superb and inexpensive breakfast.
Reasonable hotel, but ugly 1960s building and not much character ... probably in need of a makeover. However rooms are clean and comfortable; staff are polite and helpful. Located on Avenue Louise, the Hotel Brussels is handy for trams, shops and restaurants nearby, although 20 minute walk from the nearest metro station at Louise.
Very big room and good athmosphere
