"The Budapest Panorama Central Hotel is very nice, newly set-up and centrally located. The hotel reception and our room was tastefully designed/decorated, with a jacussi in the bathroom. Overall, our room was very clean and we were provided with a bottle of Hungarian wine upon arrival. There was also internet access in the room. The hotel manager, Dorka, spoke fluent English and was very helpful. Given the opportunity to travel to Budapest in the future, we hope to stay again in this hotel. I hope that in the near future, the hotel management will install a more visible sign of the hotel’s name and repaint the walls along the hall leading to the elevator to cover the unsightly grafittis. The Panorama Central is located directly in the historical center of Budapest, less than a 5 minute walk from famous Vaci street, Andrassy Avenue, the Hungarian National Museum, St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Dohany Synagogue (Europe’s largest). Located in a 19th century building, the space is brand new, having opened in the summer of 2009, and today delivers the height of comfort in classical surroundings.
Visitors cannot find a more central location with all major transportation hubs only a few minutes walk away. The accommodation is situated only a 1 minute walk from the Astoria metro station on the M2 Redline. It is also only a 5 minute walk from both the Deák tér and Kálvin tér stations, both on the M3 Blueline.
Every room has satellite television, telephone and high speed Internet access and work area. Every room also comes with air conditioning making it comfortable during any season. The ceilings are high and the colors of the rooms are light giving our guests a feeling of space and calm which is always good after a long day of sightseeing or work. The windows and rooms are also sound proof making the rooms quiet and relaxing. Our superior rooms come with Jacuzzi baths with hydro massage – perfect after a long day in the city. |

By plane: At the end of the airport terminal take bus 200 to the very end of the line to the Blueline metro station at Kőbánya-Kispest. You will see an escalator going into the building. At the top of the escalator, walk halfway through the building and you will see the entrance to the metro on the left. Get off at Deák tér. Go down the escalator to change for the Red metroline. You have to travel only 1 stop in the direction of Örs vezér tere and get off at the Astoria stop. At the top of the escalator turn left and then left again. Find the exit showing Károly körút páros oldal. From the top of the steps we are approximately 50m.
At Karoly korut 10 you will see a bronze sign for the hotel near the entrance. Walk into the building courtyard and you will see an elevator right in front of you. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Exit the elevator, turn left and you will find entrance on the right.
