"Perfect location at a walking distance (100 meters) from the major shopping and restaurant district Wangfujing and easy access by taxi to several directions without difficulties of traffic jams. No noise from the nice hutong during night. Breakfast is modest but enough on European standards. Nice small Chinese restaurants near by with Chinese pricing. The room itself is small - the closet for longer clothing is limited. There is always available someone from the staff who speaks good English. I do recommend." - Anonymous
"I've no idea how the hotel got their 4star rating, i think the maximum they deserve is only 2. Of course, i am not expecting perfect standards for the price i pay, but i don't think they've ever vaccumed the room (which by the way is teeny shoe box in size). It's covered with stains, cigaratte butt burns, dust and hair. The toilet tiles are cracked. The rooms are not sound proof, so every morning, you get to hear the din from the staff on their housekeeping rounds from 6am onwards (i wonder what they are cleaning), walkie talkie and all. "basic level accomodation, terrible breakfast, great location, decent value for money." - Eran Schweiger
"Reasonable lobby hall and room for cheap hutong hotel.
But corridors have extremely dirty and stained carpets and staircase has dirty walls. Housekeeping installations were appaling. Otherwise nice people, some speaking english. Room internet service perfect and cheap" - ilidio serodio
