Great Location ;o)
this is a lovely hotel with good sized rooms which are clean and well decorated. the beds are very comfortable. breakfast to the room was lovely. the pool is a little small but clean and warm. staff very friendly and helpful.
Superior room with 2 beds in a room.
Superior room with a large double bed in a room.
Superb location with plenty of alternative eating or drinking establishments including the Medieval Banquet in the Castle. Angsara Spa is well worth a visit and the pool, sauna and steam facilities are excellant. Very helpful and friendly staff but the Breakfast Waiters would be advised to ask if clients want Tea, Coffee or Toast when they are seated and not have to be asked halfway way through the meal.
Very enjoyable stay
I stayed in this hotel for one night while attending a wedding and I was very impressed with the service overall. The rate was very good and I could not fault anything with this hotel. We got breakfast delivered to our room and it was lovely. Drink in bar is reasonably priced. I will definitely be staying here again.
We stayed here on our last night on holiday, and it was lovely. Free use of luxury pool, sauna and spa to help us chill in style. Ate at the bar on site- had the best steak i've ever had...washed down with excellent guiness..mmmm
Excellent place to stay . A+
I stayed here for a 3 nite break. The room was more like a mini suite, overlooking a little courtyard with a fountain. Everything was immaculate, the bed was huge, the bathroom faultless and the spa facilities were perfect. It is well above the normal 3 star hotel, the location is unbeatable being right accross from the castle, the heritage park, 2 pubs and nice shops. The staff were extremely professional even though there were 2 weddings and it was a bank holiday weekend there was no noise or disruption. we had breakfast in bed each morning which was ontime and as ordered delivered at no extra charge. the hotel is very well maintained and i thouroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay there. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel.
Hi all, I am delighted to get the chance to recommend this hotel, I have had occasion over the past months to stay at hotels from Orlando through Rome and to Cork / Clare and this one tops the pile. Well done to all from, floor staff to management. this is how it should be done. I reccomend this hotel but be aware that after a night or two, Bunratty becomes a small place with nothing to do and unfortunately, the local Bars did not match the standards of the Hotel, loud drunken punters, karaoki style music and no traditional flair on offer.
This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location. The hotel has a courtesy bus to pick you up from Shannon Airport and as there is sufficient in Bunratty to keep you occupied for a couple of days, it makes a perfect location for a long weekend. Gallaghers Seafood resturant, just over the road is excellent, as is the Creamery Pub and resturant, right next to the hotel.
Excellant spa facilities with swimming pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation area. Very friendly staff. Rooms are very spacious with big (king size) comfortable double beds. Would stay again
I enjoyed my stay at the Bunratty. The location was perfect. It was our last stop before flying home. It gave us a perfect opportunity to unwind and do a little last minute shopping. Carole M. U. S. A.
Had been allocated a room that smelt strongly of smoke, but when I brought it to the receptionist's attention I was immediately changed to a room on the executive corridor, which was beautifully appointed. Service levels were very high throughout.
Beautiful hotel, friendly service. Will stay again!
we stayed an extra night in this hotel as it was so lovely, the rooms were fabulous especially the bathrooms, it was a very enjoyable stay, I can honestly say everything was top class, I would recommend it to anyone and would love to stay there again.
Very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast Menu.
excellent, no complaints.
The hotel was clean, and quiet, very peaceful. The decor was very old fashioned, although just recently decorated. I got the impression they were going out of their way to impress elderly american tour groups, but all in all it was a very pleasant stay.
I heard music from the floor at 7am until around 10am which was very annoying and I kept waking up. Other than that the hotel is very nice and breakfast was delicious!
Highly recommended. Very clean & tidy. Beautiful building & location with castle, grounds, winery, gift shops, pubs and restaurants right on the doorstep. The whole village has really been turned into a visitor centre and to some extent enhanced by the commercialism rather than spoiled by it. There is no town or other nearby scenery or attractions so you might not want to stay there too long but good for 1 or 2 nights as you can park up the car at the hotel and visit everything on foot without any difficulty. The area is good for the elderly and those with young children, although the hotel itself isn't really set up for kids.
