Burg Hotel Nuernberg

This Hotel is in the old Part of the City of Nuernberg and therefore very good if you want to explore the City on foot.

Unfortunately, for years they still have this very old elevator. It takes an awful lot of time to "take a ride" Having baggages to be carried or during peak times (i.e. breakfast or check-out) you need good nerves!

This is a lovely hotel. As two seniors (76 years old) travelling round Europe on a Eurail pass we were pleased it was an easy walk from the station..about 20 minutes but very doable and with (not much) pull along luggage that made it a pleasant walk. It was in the middle of the old city so very close to everything. The hotel was comfortable and our room was large. There was a nice buffet breakfast.

Excellent location and very advantageous price through internet booking. Despite stated check-in of 4pm we arrived at 1pm and were able not only to drop off our bags but also to take over the room. Also reduced rate parking in the near-by multi-storey car park was on offer. A very pleasant stay!!

A wonderful, small, hotel with lots of character in the Altstadt. Superb and quiet location in near the Schloss and Durer House.

The Burg Hotel is a charming hotel in the quaint part of Nurnberg. The hotel personnel were very helpful.
