Getting there:Stay on SH 1 through city and take first street on the right past Ambulance Station (Percy St), turn right again at the bottom of Percy St, and we are about 300 meters down on the left hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Early check in available if room not rented out night before. Late check out available (up to 12.00noon) if room not booked for that day.
Car parking:Free off street parking.
Child Policy:Well behaved children who know the difference between right and wrong and the meaning of the word NO, are welcome.

Great Stay!!! I have preveously rated this Motel badly, but having seen it has new owners I decided to give it a 2nd chance, Fantasitic stay, very clean great service and I an booked there this weekend ..... definatly recomend.
Single unit with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. fully self contained.
Unit has separate bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed and 2 single beds out in the lounge.

Basic motel, train line very close, busy road. Cheap and cheerful.
Cheerful hosts. Compared with other motels used in the past 12 months it is adequate. It was clean and OK for our one-night stay. Generally it gives the impression of being due for a refurbishment.
it was clean and well looked after and the beds were really comfortable. Both John and Ann were friendly, helpful and pleasant people. As it is outside of the city proper it was excellent for touring as it afforded you access to north bound roads without the hassel of city traffic to contend with. We enjoyed our visit

Very reasonable motel in a convenient location (although close to a train line!). Room somewhat dated but clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Friendly & helpful owners. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

the motel facilities and equipment is more on par with a backpackers type accommodation then a motel - the bedding was tired, the shower handle was broken, ... possibly the most frustrating was the only access to the toilet was through the shower
I found the Burgundy Rose Hotel people very hospitible and great communication. They even gave me an upgarde on the room I had booked at no extra cost as unfortunately the one through rates to go that I'd booked had already gone. Did find there was a bit of road noise as I was on the end - so next time I'll try and get a room on the other side :)
A clean budget motel
well priced basic accomodation. friendly staff
Bit old fashioned and tired but the price made up for its other drawbacks.
Right next to the railway line! Prepare to be woken up. But then the whole town probably suffers the same fate when the train hoots. The hotel is good value for money and is what I would expect.
Excellent and fabulous service. A motel to be at. I will continue to use their services when required.
