"Good quality town centre hotel. Rooms recently refurbished, decor contemporary and attractive. Was there for a function so great to simply go upstairs afterwards. Breakfast adequate buffet style, though I didn't explore most of the options on the menu. Fine for a short break in Dumfries." - Anonymous

"We thought that the room was too small to be a true double. There was only space for one chair. We noticed a similar sized room containing a single bed which seemed about right. Excellent breakfast and dinner. " - Anonymous
"Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff. Only downside was we had no idea how much we were paying for our evening meal until we checked out. We were shown to a table and handed a short menu with no prices on it; I wrongly assumed that coffee was included and not an extra. It was however a lovely meal.
