Cairns Beach Resort

Good points: Close to airport and only minutes from Skyrail and shopping centre (by car). Lovely gardens Standard room had everything we needed for three day stay Things to watch out for: Ask for a first or second floor room as 'ground floor' rooms got little sunlight due to height of shrubs / bushes in the beautifully maintained gardens. Undergrowth also meant we did not use balcony as mosquitos were abundant Without a car this would be difficult to get too / from and some tours do not pickup from Holloway Beach

For two it would have been really good, the third had to sleep on a sofabed, which was good, but the room was warm, no a/c

Nice room. Good location, out of the main town but that suited us. Short bus ride (20 mins) to get there when you want to.

These are beautiful very spacious apartments, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The receptionist was very helpful. It was an absolute pleasure staying here.

A very well-appointed appartment with everything we needed for our stay. The site was quiet and clean. The swimming pool area was lovely and the staff very helpful.

Nice place to stay if you wish to get away from the rat race of town, it is around 15 minutes to city centre, however car hire is available from the front desk. Great place to eat directly opposite at both the restuarant and cafe.

This is a lovely resort with friendly welcoming staff. We had a lovely stay . the resort is very close to beach and local shops the only downside is there is no night life to speak of .But Cairnes central is only 15 minutes away with a good bus service . we will definately go back one day .

The accommodation suited our needs to a tee - we had a hire car so it was very suitable location wise. The apartment facilities were as advertised and I would stay there again.

This resort looks lovely and the reception was very helpful with booking tours, directions etc. The beach is just across the road but it is on a corner and we found the noise from the cars early in the morning annoying. Also without a car it is a bit far out of the city.

Lovely garden/pool area and a stone's throw from Holloways beach. There are good places to eat nearby, and a bus to town every hour. A nice, quiet area.

No lift to the 3rd floor. Staff was pleasant. Restuarant across the road was always shut, so access to shops and food was limited.

The distance from Cairns to the hotel was never made clear. Quite a surprise it was as far as it was. Inconvenient, too. TV channels very limited. Rest of hotel services excellent, partivcularly laundry and reception. Were the two beer coies the thank you card? If so, yes, thanks.

Good location in quiet area about 6 kms n of Cairns - need own transport. Very well kept gardens & pool area. Handy to beach & beachside restaurants

This beach resort was very nice, large accommodation with everything you would need. Other guests were very complimentary about the resort. We would stay again without hesitation

Very nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Beach is across the street, 10 min drive to Cairns.

Airconditioning in bedroom excellent would be perfect to have living area also airconditioed as gets very hot and humid
