Clean hotel with lovely pool, though they could do with a shade over the pool to keep it cool, it was a bit like a warm bath. The hotel was a bit far out of town, but the cheaper price reflects that and I had a hire car, so it only took around 15 minutes to the centre of Cairns. The one annoying thing in the room I stayed in was the air conditioner must have been pretty old because it kept making a clunking sound and was pretty noisy - lucky I had ear plugs!

Reasonable accommodation for the price. A bit of a drive from the CBD, so a car is essential here.
The overall hotel was excellent,I would recommend any travelers venturing into Cairns to book into the hotel, you will not be disappointed.For the hungry travelers i would recommend the mixed grill in the restaurant,you will not go away hungry

Very good value for money if you don't mind being located out side the main city. Great location for starting travel to other places.
Great if you've got a car because it's a bit out of town, about 5 min drive.
The carpets hadn't been vacumed and there was visible long black hair strands on the bathroom shower wall and floor. Poor sound insulation between rooms allowing the sound of someone using the adjoining toilet to be heard from our room.
Not new or fancy, but extremely good value for money, the thoughtfulness of staff extended to actually making the portacot we'd requested with sheets and pillowcase. These are always provided, but it's the first time ever a hotel has made the cot up!!! We will stay there again, and even try other Best Western Hotels, hopefully they are as good. Pool area looked nice too!
This motel was a bargain. The facilities were great. Nice tranquil location, close to the CBD. Staff were friendly and only to eager to cater for your needs. This motel offered a cheap rate with so much on offer. Would reccommend this motel to any traveller both couples and families alike.
Thank you for the opportunity to express my views on my stay at the Best western Cairns motel. The price as stated was excellent, I loved the simplicity of the book ahead system on rates to go. The pool facilities and surrounds were immaculate and I would not hesitate to stay there again and I will recommend it to friends also. Thanks again for a wonderful stay made even better with the friendly service.
The room needed airing, it was very very damp. The reception staff were very helpfull in arranging transport to another hotel.
Reasonably good hotel, recommendable.
Hotel was good however to far away from central city. Add said in Cairns city giving you the idea it was central however it is a $20 cab fair away. It was all good except there were no wine glasses in the room which was very dissapointing.
The management and staff were very helpful, they organised trips and provided info whenever and whatever I needed. The pool is great. Enjoyed the breakfasts here. Excellent pricing for above-average room size with TV, DVD, fridge, microwave, safe, air con. (Refers to room 3). Not close to Cairns centre but on main hwy. 8.5 / 10
We enjoyed the swimming pool, with the fun kids section. The rooms were neat and well designed. On a negative note I wouldn't recommend the hot breakfast, the crossants were over cooked and the eggs were flavourless. Overall we found the stay pleseant and would probably stay again but eat somewhere else.
The Staff And Manager were extremely obliging to all aspects of our stay and i would not have any hesitation in staying again at this resort The main attraction of the younger generation is the magnificient resort pool. well done Best Western Cairns
