Cairns Sunland Leisure Park

Althogh I incorrectly booked a site for a camper, a villa was available, and I was upgraded with no problem. The facility was very beautiful and well-kept and transportation into town was easy via the city bus which ran every 30 minutes. However, I was informed not to walk about outside the facility after dark as mugging rates were the highest In the entire Cairns area. Had no problems during the day, however.

This is a great place to stay, it is close to bus stop and local shops and diners. i had a budget villa which had a full size fridge, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee and milk. the staff were friendly and very attentive, the pool was lovely, i dont have kids but there were some there when i went and they were having a ball with the pirate ship and slide. Shared bathroom was clean and usually had it to myself. i would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visit next time. It is a very good accomodation that met all our requirements and we also enjoyed the privacy, peace and quiet and the pool.

We had a delay in our flight home and staff allowed us to come back after checking out which was a god send and at no extra cost! Has a fantastic pool area for the kids, my son had a ball.

I like the pool and the cabin was nice to stay in. I liked the service. Would stay there again for sure.

Stayed just one night and everything was OK. We bought some food at the nearby supermarket and were able to prepare our meals as we like it. A pleasant, peaceful well-run cabin park.

Good spacious villas at a god price if you want to have some room to spread out and OK kitchen facilities for eating in. Good pool and always found the neighbours to be friendly and interesting. Often good travl advice from those who have been there.

Excellent Caravan Park, only downside was outside toilets but it was very clean, really new cabins and staff were really helpful. Really beautiful!!!

We had an enjoyable stay, the staff were very friendly and helpfull with all queries that we had. Speaking to other guests, they all were also enjoying their stay

With a car this was a great place to stay. We had a deluxe type villa with our own bath. It was cute and relatively clean, a bit dusty on top of the microwave and tv.

Excelent value for money ,cabins are modern and airconditioned make a comfortable stay

Typical Australian Leisure Park (Caravans, Cabins etc). Older cabins showing age (Decor & Appliances etc) but overall reasonable value for money. Nice pool for kids. Position is good with Brothers League Club only a few minutes away (excellent low cost meals etc). Only 10 minute drive to city centre, Casino, Cruise Boats and Esplanade. Had dificulty finding with Sat Nav with address quoted. (Use Little Pease street if using Sat Nav with no address).

We were very pleased when upon arrival the reception desk person told us that we had been upgraded from a "cabin" to a "villa unit" it was most spacious and being set up as wheelchair friendly, was well set out with all the facilities you could possibly need. As the park is located on a main road and close to a major intersection it can be a little noisy throughout the night.
