Hi, we stayed in the Exec Room and it was gorgeous, soo cosy and warm and the bathroom was gorgeous too, recommend this room to anyone o and the best shower EVER....the location is lovely but a bit outside the town, we walked in once but then had to get a taxi then for the rest of the day, the hotel and bar down stairs is very good and 25% discount on drinks and food is really good...good lively street where the hotel is on with loads more pubs to go to...really enjoyed my stay here but wished it was nearer to the town but it was fine if you fancy paying 7-8quid on a taxi into town.
Check in and out was a bit of a debacle. Other than that, the hotel was very nice. We didnt try the breakfasts - a little expensive we thought.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Conveniently located. Decent prices. No negatives at all!! Would be hard pushed to find fault. Many thanks.
brilliant location would recommend to a friend
over all i ahve a good expierience. Only only main factors of concern with me was the lack of effort to get rooms ready on time for arrival. I arrived at 3pm and they were goingh to make us wait 1hour for our room to be ready which i think is not good enough. Also checking out was at 12 midday. From 10.30 onwards we would have numerous members of the cleaning staff knowing on our door and even trying to get in and when we explained they were very ubrupt towards us. But as i said this ids the only faults i could find.
The hotel was clean enough, though in need of a bit of a makeover. Psychadelic carpet would nearly disturb your sleep. Staff were polite but not particularly service orientated. They didn't even have a map showing the hotel location at reception. Breakfast was generous and waiting staff very good.
we were abit shocked that it was a 4 star hotel, as the rooms were extremely shabby....unmatched carpets, stains on the carpets and loadsa cobwebs!i stayed in a single room also that had mould and damp on the walls!the hotel itself, being the downstairs was gorgeous, everything you would expect and more tho, seeing as we were only there 4 one night the hotel did its job and gave us all a bed 4 the night and i guess that was all we were after!!
forget expensive hotels in the city centre stay at the cally you wont find any thing better, brilliant location and even better hotel
Excellent service room upgraded and facilities all that could be required.
we had concerns about security as someone did turn a key in the door and tried to open but we had the chain on,i felt when we reported this that initally it wasn't taken seriously. The breakfast was very poor,no fresh fruit and cheap brand yogurt and no porridge, bacon and sausage aplenty but sitting in grease. I think an update on what people do like for breakfast is needed.
Noisy due to rowdy students on a Monday and Tuesday. Room was not made up on one occasion. Good location for a 15 min walk to City centre.
A pleasant hotel conveniently located in the suburbs - near to the metro. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was very good. My only criticism would be some noise from the bar/club opposite. Overall good value for money
Whilst my room and the accommodation generally was good, the food served to me in your restaurant was truly appalling.
I stayed for two nights and on arrival there was a problem with the room and with no problem to the lovley staff they provided a upgrade straight away. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. From a pint to the dinners It Is a lovley hotel to stay. Will definatley go back to stay and would recommend to others.
A very noisy hotel as it's next to a bar/club. Walls are thin and doors don't block chatter from the corridors. We won't stay again. Definitely wasn't worth the money.
comfortable hotel resonsbly central location
All the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist. How nice to see a friendly, smiling face the moment you enter the hotel. The bar areas were very lively in the evening but the corridor and bedroom areas were very quiet. Breakfast was very enjoyable, made more so by the excellent service. All in all a very enjoyable experience that we will most definitely repeat. Mike and Sue from Lincolnshire.
The restaurant was extremely good--original and fantastic food and friendly, genuine service. A small room problem was dealt with professionalism and efficiency. A recommended hotel in every way.
