Location is very nice..live band music in Qba is pretty good..breakfast is disaster..freindly staffs
room are very good and clean but way to expensive for what they are..Some hotels in PP have same condition rooms an sizes but for fraction of price
Staff don't understand English very well and not very efficient either especially in reception. Bathrooms are quite old and dirty. Location is excellent and the river view from the hotel is fantastic.
Large characterless hotel but in a great location. On checking in was upgraded to a junior suite which was ok but really meant just two rooms instead of one, the other being filled with a dining table, sofa and kitchenette (why?). Quality of fittings and fixtures generally poor. The pool and view of the river were nice but generally not great value ($95/night). The cost of tuk tuks from outside the hotel were outrageous and mostly not willing to barter.
The hotel was good but not great.
We were quite pleased with the hotel, particularly as they offered us an upgrade to a junior suite. The staff were friendly and eager to help. However, as there were some renovation work ongoing, the lobby smelled strongly of paint and thinner, which was a bit unfortunate. In addition, cleanliness of utensils was a bit of an issue at the breakfast buffet. We got dirty coffee cups even after we asked for the first set to be changed.
