First time stay in the Campanile. Impressed with this hotel, good value at low price, clean and seemed to have a fresher appearance in comparison to Travelodge & some Premier Inns. Hotel was only being used as a base to sleep and shower in. Very close to SECC, a little bit of walk form city centre but taxi cost less than £5.00. Did not have any meals at this hotel.
Convenient, clean and generally well priced
Double bed + Sofa Bed
Two Single Beds.
Well priced, conveniently located hotel - bar staff seem a bit anxious to clean and close well before closing time though!
We enjoyed our stay, the only negative comment is that we feel that the lounge area could be bigger, as we had to wait for a seat. Granted it was busy because of the concert, but a wee drink is nice before bedtime. Thanking you
An excellent location if going to an event in the SECC or Clyde Auditorium.
Great Hotel location for SECC and general shopping in the town centre. Breakfast very good but very greasy! Should have more options such as grilled sausages, scrambled/poached or boiled eggs instead of everything just fried...Rooms very comfy & clean with air conditioning (be good if they supplied a little 'instruction' card or sheet with what all the air coditioner symbols meant). Not enough toilet rolls in bathroom! Staff very good and helpful generally. Bar nice but pricey and they DON'T stock red bull! Did not like chipped cup supplied in my room.
Rooms a bit small. Staff friendly.
This hotel is on the banks of the Clyde, so we had lovely views. Getting about Glasgow from this hotel was very easy. The room was neat and clean, the staff were accommodating and the bed comfy. The restaurant breakfast was French in style and quite fine.
Overall everything you would expect of an hotel in this price range without being exceptionally good or bad in any particular area, except the restaurant. Breakfast arrangements are good, but the evening meal quality was a bit below standard. Free car parking and a good size car park is an advantage.
Excellent basic city hotel for a night out or touring Glasgow city centre. Spotlessly clean, a 2 minute train ride into the city centre or a 15 minute walk. Right next to the concert halls and river. One of the few, if any, hotels in Glasgow with free parking close to the centre. Small rooms but excellent value for money. Highly recommended, will definitely stay again.
Ideal for the Exhibition Centre and river area of the city. Good value for city centre.
The room we had was preety small, if we had been staying more than one night I could have seen that being a problem. On the plus side the hotel was very clean, staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We would definately use the hotel again when visiting the SECC.
Decent location budget hotel. Walking distance into city centre, although on bus route too. Free parking a rarity in central(ish) Glasgow.Hotel bar quite cheap, but rather small and bland in appearance. Reasonably good breakfast. Didn't have evening meal as the choice in central Glasgow beats the hotel menu hands down. Would stay again but not my first choice.
The best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel !!
Our latest stay was the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is a very clean hotel, with pleasant staff, good food and good value for money. Is an excellent place to stay if attending a conference/exhibition/concert at the SECC. Will definitely be returning.
Very enjoyable overnight stay, firndly staff, modern and clean.
Nice property and well presented. Very clean and tidy. Drawbacks were that the menu which was in the room was unavailable over the Christmas period, the waitress hardly spoke english and was unhelpful and there was no internet access (pc) at the hotel. Breakfast buffet excellent and the location quite good for our requirements.
5 mins, literally, from SECC train stn. Food excellent, very clean and comfortable. 3 min walk to SECC. Very friendly staff.
Very clean hotel in an excellent location. Lovely breakfast and helpful and efficient staff. would return for another visit.
Excellent only drawback was bar closing at midnight - a bit too early as compared to other hotels
