"The room was fairly clean but the corridors, entrance, foyer, car park and general appearance of the building were decidedly shoddy. Carpets were filthy. The lift (so very slow) was dirty and plastic bags, potato chips and dirt was not removed during our stay. The air-conditioning was noisy and ineffective (It was a very hot night and we got no relief from the heat).The bolt on the inside of the bathroom door was a galvanised padbolt such as used to lock a shed door or gate. I was so impressed I took a photo. The counter staff, while not outwardly rude, were brusque, non-helpful, not even a "have a good stay' or a 'thank yuou for staying with us." For the price we paid we would expect something a lot better. In the bathroom there was plenty of soap and shampoo but no shower cap. No hairdrier. Sorry,not our fault, but definitely a dismal place to stay - and not cheap." - Nat Jaggers

"The hotel was badly in need of repair on the external, however, and the hotel itself requires renovation,the linen and room was clean. My only real hate was the mildew in the grouting of the shower. " - Anonymous

"Way to overpriced for the state of the hotel. It is in desperete need of a renovation if they keep charging that amount. " - Carl Pavett
