We have been using Candido as an overnighter for the last 4 years and have found it excellent - hence the return visits.
We enjoyed our second stay as much as the first one last year. However we object to the charge of six Euros per person for a swim in the indoor pool. In our room,the ventilation was smelly, the carpets and upholstery not as neat as last year. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We would certainely go again.
Our party of three were impressed by the grandeur of hotel lobby, front desk, room and food services offered by this hotel. An excellent value for money we spent on staying at this hotel. Though this hotel is not close to the city centre, it's on the bus route and it's only about 10 minutes walk from the place boarding a bus from Segovia to Madrid. It's highly recommended.
Very comfortable, good restaurant and other facilities. You need a car because it is some way out of town.
Hotel is extremely good for the price. Need to have your own car or catch taxis to go into the main tourist attractions. The hotel gives the impression from photo's of being really old but inside it is new.

An excellent hotel just outside the city centre. Lovely rooms and communal areas. Good food in the restaurant and at the buffet breakfast. We were not charged for soft drinks from the mini bar. A most enjoyable stay.
Elegant hotel, tastefully decorated. Has great view of city, although the back neighbor is a construction site. Service was excellent. Had dinner and breakfast--both were very good. Large hot breakfast buffet, one of the best we found in Spain.
Very difficult to find in the dark - no signageat or near the hotel - but glad we found it.
The room was excellent with tasteful dec. and nice furniture. Particularly liked the wet room + bath + bidet + 2 WHBs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 1 mile out of town so I would suggest a free mini-bus or taxi service. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and choice. Not fully completed yet - landscaping and ext swimming pool not finnished.
