Getting there:Take the Kwinana Freeway (2) South through to Mandurah (1). From Mandurah, drive to Bunbury (1). From Bunbury follow the signs to Busselton (10), and then take the Busselton bypass (10) to Dunsborough (250). From Dunsborough, follow the signs to Yallingup tourist number 250. Just before the town of Yallingup, turn left at the brown Town Hall onto Caves Road (250) and after about 10 minutes (10 kilometres) Cape Lodge is on the left hand side opposite Driftwood Estate Winery. The trip will take approximately 3.5 hours at a leisurely pace. Safe driving!!

A swimming pool is due for completion in the very near future and will be a welcome addition to the beautiful grounds. The hotel is located outside of Margaret River Town but is well placed for wine tasting and sightseeing. A very tranquil and peaceful setting. The food is excellent and the staff very pleasant. Definitely a place for a spot of pampering.
Excellent food.However for a Leading Small Hotels of the World the service was very disappointing both in the restaurant and in general.The rooms were fine but not Relais Chalais class.The hotels facilities are minimal for its quality and it desperately needs a pool(given the climate) and a gym. We enjoyed our stay but didnt feel as if we had stayed in something classy which we would expect from a Leading Hotels hotel.It was rescued by a great chef.
Garden Wing rooms are 38m2 with tranquil garden views towards the lake. All feature king-size or twin beds, LCD TV, DVD and ensuite bathroom with shower.
The Lodge King Room is 48m2.The room is located in the Main Lodge and has garden and Lake views. This room features a King size bed or twin beds, LCD TV and DVD and ensuite bathroom with shower only
The Superior Spa suites are 55m2 and all have wonderful views of the lake and gardens. They feature king-size or twin beds, open plan ensuite with shower over a large spa bath and a lounge area with TV, DVD and CD player.
The Lodge Suite is a two-room suite located in the Main Lodge and has garden and lake views. The suite features the main bedroom with king size bed, spacious marble ensuite with large spa bath and separate shower. The second room contains a relaxing lounge area with LCD TV, CD player and a second ensuite
The Forest Spa Suites are 70m2, situated in a woodland setting overlooking a private lake and surrounded by natural landscaping. All suites feature king-size or twin beds, luxury bathrooms with double spas and separate spacious walk in showers. The lounge area includes TV, DVD and CD player.
A fantastic place designed for adults to get away from it all. The staff were warm and friendly while also very professional. The restaurant is at a very high standard in both service and food. It turned out to be a very relaxing weekend for my husband and myself, while we ate and ate! The drawing room where you can go and relax in front of an open fire with a good book (and afternoon tea is served) is a wonderful touch. Will definetly go back and recommend anyone to stay there!
Superb in every respect. The restaurant is a standout and should be advertised more as part of the experience. We are already planning our return.

This hotel is without exception the best in the area. The service is great and the restaurant is superb. I would not stay anywhere else. It is a little pricey but if you are looking for somewhere a bit special this is the place.
Beautiful gardens and a magical walk aroung the estate in the morning. Well appointed and very comfortable room. Yummy food and a very pleasant and helpful staff. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful.
