Capital Executive Apartment Hotel Canberra

Good older style hotel that, despite not been renovated in about 20 years, is very clean and friendly. Good size 1br apartment for 2 people, found it a bit tight for 4 people but had a TV in each room , very reasonable mini-bar ($2-50 for a coke!) and a good size bathroom. Also about $100 cheaper than where we usually stay in Canberra, which was booked out at the time, so very happy with hotel overall.

Clean and comfortable but a bit of a walk from the city

Car parking was limited and very small spaces. Iam glad we weren't in a room near the noisy lift, but overall it was a good place to stay.

It was quite good except: there was no light over the desk or in the centre of the room, so it was hard to work or read at the desk couldn't get internet access - this was clearly stated as a requirement for my booking couldn't turn on the TV - had to ask to discover there is an on-off switch hidden down the side of the unit found it hard to control the temperature of the room - too hot during the night breakfast delivered to room on first morning - not good But - restaurant food was very good each evening

The hotel supplied ear plugs in the bathroom which i thought was strange until i heard the amount of noise during the night. Extremely uncomfortable to sleep with sounds of an air compressor or something similar going on and off every 20 seconds throughout the night.

Good location , good bedding option for families. Very reasonable breakfast

The facilities in the room were great. Kitchen was well equipped. Location to CBD excellent. Overall very good and I will definitely stay here again.

Car parking spaces are adequate but very very tight when big cars are in place before you park. The Italian restaurant serves very good food at reasonable prices but the service was a little slow on the night of our visit. There was a 5 cm lip at the entry door to our room and this caused one of us to trip dangerously. Other than that the room was excellent.

A bit outdated and room and kitchen quite small. Quite noisy too, so that's what the earplugs were for. the gym/spa was good, but the sauna should be on the same floor. check-in/out service good.

Nice to have an apartment that was central to everything. Very quiet, even though it was on main road

pros: efficent service. good location. quick check in and out. pleasant staff. will recommend to friends and come back for future visits. cons: chilly room, no heater. need to provide bedroom slippers. unclear instructions on how to access in-house movies. drab deco making place look old, could do with an uplift!

Some staff are rude, and the cleaning of the rooms could be improved - but if you're looking for a cheap and convenient stay, then this hotel will suffice.

Comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. Our room was noisy at night though.However the sofa bed definitely needs replacing. was very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on for 2 nights.

Well positioned on the edge of the CBD , walking distance to restaurants , Bus Interchange & shopping . Narrow undercover car park - not for large vehicles . Dated room , suffers from traffic noise, limited cooking facilities , free daily newspaper , hearty first floor breakfast , plus busy Italian Restaurant . We left behind 2 books in our room , however Staff were unhelpful & perhaps dishonest in acknowledging an outcome in our favor , following our speedy phone call .

Good value for centrally located apartment in Canberra. Was the only accommodation I could find that offered 3 single beds, parking spot and very affordable breakfast. I have had breakfasts at 5 star that have not been as good as this.

I was very happy with my room. It was clean and comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the street but it is on a main road so that is to be expected. The hotel was walking distance to the center of Canberra so I was happy with that too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

Easy stroll to CBD. We were relying on public transport, more information at front desk would have been helpful

The cleaning appears to of been let go a little. Dirty glasses in the kitchenette, some rubbish had been left in one of the draws, and the bathroom in my opinion had not been given a decent clean in some places in a while. Other than that, it was ok.

24hr check in was great as we arrived late that day. The room was neat, tidy and clean when we arrived.

Noisy location on main road. Short sheet on the bed. Digital TV didn't work. Other noisy guests partying in the lounge foyer on my floor. Staff helpful and pleasant. good location for the price.
