Capitol Palace Venice

There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, and 15 minutes to Venice. Most of the hotel staffs are friendly and speak good English. Breakfast is quite simple but still ok. What I did not like is, a hairdryer and mosquitoes!The hairdryer in the room was like a vacum cleaner... it worked for sure but just cheap. and mosquitoes, I actually could not sleep because of them. But totally, ok level.

you can get into Venice with a bus in 10 minutes, the hotel is really just over the bridge, however this 4 stars hotel costs the half of what you would pay for two stars pension inside Venice (we got the deal, so the room was half price). However, the service is not extremely friendly, you have to pay for wireless lan and breakfast buffet was one of the worst i've seen. Overall, a decent alternative to staying in venice extremely overpriced hotels and saving for other activities.

It is much easier and to stay out of Venezia and go to visit it by bus (5mn, bus number 5 oder 19). Staying in the heart of Venezia should be a little bit more chaotic.

Great value. Rooms are clean. Aircon works, and breakfdast spread is reasonable.

Very nice rooms. Triple room large with big bathroom including tub and shower double rather small but clean. Small but working elevator lift. Location only 10min from Piazza Roma in Venice by car or bus (available right oustide hotel). Not much within walking distance but easy family access by taxi. Continnetal breakfast only.

Friendly reception staff , who spoke English and Spanish very well. ( i couldn't tell you if their Japanese was up to scratch!) We hadn't expected to be next to the main road to Venice but it turned out to be convenient for buses to the island. Breakfast was ok but the coffee from a machine left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was adequate but taller people would have found it difficult to sit on the toilet as their knees would have banged into the shower door! i got the room last minute at 100 euros a night- the price on the back of the room door stated 199.00 , a bit steep , but then again Venice is as the gondolier who ripped me off pointed out, is the most expensive city in Europe!!

The hotel is located 5 minutes by car from Venice airport direction downtown Venice on the main road. Venice car parking places are 10, nearest highways are 5 minutes away from the hotel. The hotels and rooms are nicely decorated and clean, however no restaurant is avalable at hotel. The nearest restaurant is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Very convenient for travellers renting a car (the hotel offers open-air free parking).

Was quite a pleasant hotel to stay in

Convenient if you're just stopping over in Venice for business and want to be close to the airport and/or train station at Mestre.

What a wonderful hotel to stay at if you need to stay in Venice Mestre. The staff was extremely sweet and helpful. Our room was huge, and nicely decorated! I would highly recommend staying here.

4 Stars Hotel outside Venice but with frequent bus services. Good pricing for Venice standard . Very nice rooms and spacious lobby

The Capitol Palace was ideally situated within a 10 minute bus ride from outside the hotel into the centre of Venice. It has recently been refurbished and the standard of accommodation is very good and cleanliness is high. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a cheaper alternative to staying in the centre of Venice and would stay here again myself.
