Went to this hotel as it was only going to be stopover before flying out. Not many had booked in so the hotel was not busy at all. Facilities were okay but we found that the king size bed(a combined one with 2 large singles) mattress sunk in the middle due to it not being rotated since being put into the room. A fairly basic hotel suitable for a quick stopover and it comes with continental breakfast.
Loved my stay. Loved the staff. Miss the red papaya for breakfast.
Toilets are old and stained in some of the rooms. The first room I stayed in was hopeless but the second one was ok. Staff are great and the location perfect (once the construction next door is finished). Had no problems with internet booking and they accepted the [website] booking receipt without any questions.
As most rooms overlook the pool - is important to ensure that hotel curfew is enforced to keep noise down on warm nights. Also allow additional 20mins when booking airport shuttle as Fiji time prevails.
On the plus side, it's inexpensive, convenient to the airport, provides free taxi service to it, pool's OK, and offers a comp. continental breakfast. On the downside, the hot tub was at ambient temperature and dirty, room needed a paint job and was initially smelly (aired out OK), restaurant food was poorly prepared.
Bathrooms I found to be not up to standard with mildew and cockroaches. Bedding was confortable and clean. Service from the girls a little slow but very pleasant and helpful.
It worked for us as we needed accommodation for a couple of nights before heading out to an island holiday. A bus ran past the door into the nearby town of Nadi. Shower tiles and bedroom curtains were a bit shabby but outdoor area was pleasant.
Very easy and reasonable for a one-night stopover. Some staff very helpful / friendly - others quite abrupt - but I think that might just be the culture. Caught a taxi there, but then got a personalised delivery to the airport the next day.
Good service and also clean rooms. I will go there again and will recommend it to my friends as well.
