Caravaggio Hotel was established in December 2001. It is located in the historical centre of the city of Naples and occupies part of an ancient noble building (XVII century) restored according to the most modern standards, though respecting its former style. The hotel reception and hall share the same precious flooring of the square outside to be organic with the latter. Hotel rooms offer every comfort in a warm and friendly atmosphere: air conditioning, sat-TV, telephone, Internet-ready access, bar and - in some of them - whirlpool shower. Hotel living rooms include a large breakfast hall, bar, reading-room, meeting-room (up to 40 guests) and a small business office fully equipped with Internet-ready PC, fax, telephone and photocopier.

Getting there:Capodichino airport is only 3 Km far from our Structure, so You will easily find a taxi. Just Outside the Capodichino airport You can take Bus ALIBUS or 3S and get off in Piazza Garibaldi from where, at the Bus stop near the Garibaldi Statue, You can take Bus CS that reaches Via Duomo; You have to get off at the second Via Duomo stop and turn right onto Via Tribunali. Afther few steps You'll see our Hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located just off Via dei Tribunali, one of the most interesting narrow streets in the old centre of Naples. This area is very busy and quite safe. One of the two paintings by Caravaggio still in Naples is free to view in a church directly opposite the hotel. Other tourist sites and restaurants are within easy walking distance or you can get buses from Via del Duomo and Piazza Dante. Trattoria da Carmine is a particularly good family-run restaurant in Via del Tribunali. Hotel facilities are good (minibar and safe in room, TV etc.) although the breakfast was not as copious as in many 4-star hotels. Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us a small parting gift. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Naples. There is a fixed taxi fare to/from the airport which should not be more than 20 euros in daytime.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Bedroom large. Bathroom rather cramped by comparison. Excellent location. Quiet and secure in busy neighbourhood. Would strongly recommend.

Fascinating old building in interesting location. Step right out into chaotic Naples. Excellent restaurant (Da Carmine) nearby. No views, window was too high to see out of. Breakfast good, bar and lounge small but comfortable. Loved it.
A lovely hotel however the air conditioning did not work and was very hot and uncomfortable in the evening in the room.
