Caribbean Resort Mooloolaba

More 3star than 4star. Found accommodation tired & old room needed TLC -Beds like hammocks, few things in need of repair. Facilities good though & rooms & resort well equipped for families. Staff helpful. Cost was an issue especially when tried to charge again but for less???

This was our 3rd time to stay at Caribbean Resort. We love the place - good sized room, lovely swimming pool & spa, cable TV, excellent location and so on. A little disappointment was - the game room a little dated and we had to pay for the internet use in the room. Otherwise the lady at the reception was helpful, and we'd love to go back again!

Facilities were dated. Toilet door was damaged and had been patched with paint a different colour. No remote for DVD player. Location near, but not on, beach. Check in/out was easy even though arrived after hours. Staff were friendly.

The girl at reception was lovely and we were allowed into our room early as it was already prepared. The room was clean and, even though there is a bar downstairs and we overlooked the pool area, the room was quiet with the balcony door closed. It is very close to everything and we would stay there again.

We enjoyed a wonderful,relaxing break. Everything was close by so no need for a car public transport within walking distance. Our apartment was comfortable with everything we needed for a four day stay.Receptionists were very helpful.

Location is very good. Furniture very old and quite uncomfortable. Benchtop chipped and stained. Dishes and cutlery not cleaned properly. Facilities ok but complicated with children from the pool area playing in the lifts between all floors.

Fantastic location, the taps need attention as they were dripping but otherwise quite good

It was really noisy. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every noise.

We would definitely stay there again. Was a little bit noisy.

Basic accommodation which is a bit old and tired, however the price reflected this - very cheap to stay at. Service was friendly and pleasant.

Great location, close to everything, good-sized room. Unfortunately, we didn't realise the pool area would be so 'kid-friendly', so for us it was too noisy being so close to the pool. Would stay here again.

Great spot. The pool was sheltered from the prevailing wind and bathed in sunshine from early morning until about 3.00pm. The layout of the room was excellent - from the walk in wardrobe to the seperate toilet and laundry facilities. Would be happy to repeat the experience.

Rooftop spa was great. Unfortunately the rest of the apartment didn't live up to the badge 'penthouse'. The second bedroom had 2 short squeaky beds (many of us are 6ft tall) that kept us awake most of the night and combined with squeaky toilet door meant grumpy people the next day.

A really nice place, great location, short walk tot eh beach and cafes. the staff were freindly and nice. had some troubles with the tv, really poor picture, but since we were watching dvd's most of the time, it wasn't too much of an issue. It might have been bad timeing on our part, but there were building construction going on around our side and we were woken up at 6 on saturday, but other than that we thought it was a great place to stay and would go again.

Superb spot to stay so close to the beach and all facilities. Great for families and even for couples wanting to get away and being so close to the beach.

Fantastic location, close to beach, wharf and shops. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great pool for children.

I was a bit disappointed as the gym didn't work and one of the lights in the main room didn't work either. But overall the resort was good and the local the best part.

A good central location close to restaurants and other things, but this meant that it was noisy late at night when others were leaving the restaurants and other things. It was also noisy early in the morning with garbage truck pickups. So bring your ear-plugs if you're noise sensitive. Otherwise, a comfortable place to stay.
