Carlos V Hotel Granada

Very well priced hotel at a convenient location. Our room smelled a little bit wierd tho and the walls are *very* thin.

this hotel very good location centre Granada. Very clean,comfortable beds,quiet at night. No hairdryer in room but could one at Reception. No parking outside hotel but garage available nearby. have used this hotel 3 times now-

Location,price,service, cleanliness all excellent. Directions on Hotel Web Site including photographs are very good but parking on the street (free) very difficult. 15€ will get you into the garage parking just around the corner if the hotel stamp your ticket. Entrance to Hotel is actually confusing as it is also the entrance to the flats below, the Hotel being above on Level 4 in the lift. The coffee machine is fine, but breakfast is better at the many bars close to the entrance the very helpful staff (Barbara) will do you hot criossant etc if you ask. Rooms are very new and spotless but alas NO satellite TV only Spanish. The power shower was invigorating. Location right in the heart of the city so close for everything is marvellous. Definately worth a return visit.

Balcony overlooking the city wonderful for coffe and enjoying the warmth. Reception staff helpful with additona information. Location excellent.

Very good hotel to stay in. For the rate i received, it was fabulous. The location was ideal - just a bus journey from Alhambra / Albaicin. The receptionist also was very helpful providing a map with the attractions on the map.

Air conditioning did not work efficiently in room. Service form reception was superb, staff is helpful and efficient. Hoever coffee would be better served by staff like toast and croissant other than available from a machine. See you next time.

The hotel is a bit hard to find, but it is in a great location for exploring the city and is close to a hop-on-off tour bus stop, as well as regular city bus stops. It is in the heart of the shopping district and many nice places to see are in walking distance. The staff is very friendly, and to their best to speak in broken English. The rooms are very nice and have all new furniture and fixtures. Be sure to enjoy the view of the city from the balcony outside the coffee room!

No food apart from a drinks/crisp machine and the option of a microwave burger. (But the hotel is so central this was not a problem). Noise however is a problem from the apartments below- so not recommended for light sleepers!!! Apart from this the staff were helpful and the rooms were very clean.

The room was quite nice except for the window lock being broken and the bathroom having a leak. The breakft available for 1 euro or a coffee or toast was quite good value and the balcony with a couple of tables and chairs was also quite good. The staff were helpful enough (phoned to pre book Alhambra tickets for 1 Euro each) but did seem a little disorganised with check in and out arrangements. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a rather nice older building but the location is a little away from most things although still only a 45 minute walk to the Alhambra ticket office. I would probably try to find somewhere more central if I was to viist Granada again

Good price for a good quality hotel.

A nice clean Hotel in a good location very reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and the rooms modern and well presented. All in all very good value for money.

This is a clean and modern hotel with parking adjacent in a good location for Granada central.

My son and I enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very pleasant and the accomodations were superb.

Very nice hotel.

A total gem of a find. We got it half price and were totally taken aback with what we got. I had to ask the receptionist how much the room was to check! All modern swish interior and recently refurbished. Very central and the parking is just around the corner. We spent hours searching and were well chuffed with what we got. Just book it!
