Hotel description:    The Carlton Ambassador Hotel is located in the centre of The Hague, encircled by lovely greenery and broad avenues, museums (including Panorama Mesdag), the royal district of Noordeinde and the multifaceted shopping streets.

The monumental character of the building emphasizes the elegance and 'boutique' style of the Carlton Ambassador. Luxury, quality and distinction are the first words that come to mind. The interior has been furnished with great attention being paid to the smallest details, resulting in a very intimate ambience overall.

Each room is unique in design and lay out, decorated in English Tudor Rose or Old Dutch Hindeloopen style.

Rubens Restaurant and Bar is a warm and cosy place to spend the evening, enjoying a delicious meal or a drink at the bar. For a more formal setting, Henricus is the restaurant on the ground floor which is open for lunch and dinner.

Getting there: Central train station: Tram 10 (runs 6:30 - 9:30 & 15:00 - 18:45 hours) or Bus 22 (Scheveningen Noorderstrand) or 24 (Kijkduin).

From train station 'Hollands Spoor' tram 1 (Scheveningen Noorderstrand) from 6:30 - 0:30 hours.

Get off at the Mauritskade/Alexanderstraat. Follow Alexanderstraat until Plein 1813 and take a left turn into the Sophialaan. You will find the hotel 100 metres on your right hand side.

By car: From Rotterdam (A13) and Utrecht (A12) via the junction Pr. Clausplein. Follow the signs The Hague (A12) and Scheveningen. At the end of the A12 motorway, turn left to Scheveningen-Zeehaven and then turn right (Koningskade). Move to the left lane and take a left at next traffic light into Dr. Kuyperstraat. Take third right (Zeestraat).

From Amsterdam/Schiphol via the A4 direction of The Hague/Rotterdam. At the junction Burgerveen, take the A44/N44 to The Hague city centre. At the T-junction in The Hague, go right (Koningskade). Further details, please see above.
Car parking: Available at no charge, limited number of spaces.
If the hotel car park is full, there is plenty of availability in nearby streets. Costs € 1.50 per hour (Monday - Friday from 9.00 - 17.00 hours)
