Hotel is in great location. Quick wallk from train station. Hotel is very clean and in quiet area also close to water bus landing. Unfortunately today and yesterday the water busses were on strike so we put on many miles walking over 80% of the Island. It almost seemed like a blessing because it forced us to go out of our way and say many of the bueatiful museams and churches off he beaten path. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only wish was that wireless was available in rooms and not mjust in the bar area. Staye here many years ago and would definately stay here again. Ciao BABY!
Best Location . Good Hotel . I was very happy with the Hotel . Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice
It is a very nice hotel with excellent location sitting by the Grand Canal. It is easy to come and go by the train just across the canal. The boat taxi is within short walk across the bridge. We were there for a couple of nights and the room size is OK with us as we were in a triple room. Breakfast is good. Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar area. However, it is bit too expensive.
The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful. This hotel was above and beyond our expectations. Good location too. Easy to find and close to train station.
The hotel is very well situated for the railway station & bus station. Water ferry stations were close by and it was a pleasant walk to both Rialto & St Marks sq. (15 & 25 mins) The staff were freindly and helpful. Rooms were very small as you may expect in Venice. A lack of a business lounge with internet access was a disapointment. The breakfasts were very good.
Hotel is expensive but all of Venice is. Staff and service couldnt be better. Food and facilities fantastic. Rooms very comfortable. Nothing to complain about.
Enjoyed staying in this hotel located right on the Grand Canal. Had we been taking the train, it was directly across the bridge. Close to the Piazala Roma and bus connections to the airport.
Excellent location, great service and good size room for an italian hotel. Unfortunately there was no computer with internet access available to guests.
Literally the other side of the Grand Canal from Santa Lucia Railway Station the hotel was ideally positioned for us as we used Eurail Travel Passes to move around Europe. The Concierge was extremely helpful and our stay was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Just over the canal from the train station. Be aware if you have heavy bags you need to get them over a large bridge. Hotel very clean and tidy. Not in the centre of Venice but everywhere is nice and close for walking
This 4 star hotel is worth 3 stars. Breakfast was not really worth a 4 star rating. No sufficient choise en de juices were not fresh. The location was very good . You can reach nearly every important location on foot.
nice hotel, good service, but you have to be aware that your view will be the station, even if you know it is on Canal Grande. It is,but near the station.
resturant menu , i would recomend that they put toghether a proper menu as we looked at it and dident find anything we liked so went to another resturant ,but when we came back to the hotel we were asked why did we not eat in the resturant we were told they could make anything we wanted so to stop the confusion i would suggest the above, other than this i rate this as a very good hotel tnks
a good hotel with a very good location in relation to railway station
Excellent location if you come by train (just over the bridge) or by air ( bus from the airport stops 5min from the hotel). Easy acces to the historical center by foot or with the vaporetto that stops almost in front of the station.Location is important in Venice when you see loads of tourist being obliged to carry their luggage through the canals and over the bridges. Very good american buffet for breakfast. Friendly staff.Stylish rooms.
The hotel was in a good location on the Grand Canal and near to the Piazza del Roma and the train station. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was on the small side but nicely furnished.
The location of this hotel was excellent - right across the road from the railway station. The rooms are small but were nicely decorated. Service was excellent and breakfast was good.
Excellent position to train station. Rooms well presented but small like most other Venice hotels. Staff pleasant and very helpful.
Great location opposite S.Luca station. Very good sized rooms and excellent breakfast. Handy location to Ferry.
This is a decent, clean hotel with the odd pretention - but it's in Venice so what do you expect. Although the hotel is a long way from Piazza San Marco that can be a good thing. The hotel is situated right on the grand canal in one of the few really Venetian and non touristy areas of venice. It's proximity to the station means that there are always lots of Italians going past and it retains a bussling atmosphere. It also means that if you want to espouse the romance of the waterbus from the airport its a very easy hotel to get to on the autobus which is cheaper and quicker. Lastly having had two rooms at the hotel I think it is definitely worth paying that bit more and getting one with a view of the canal.
