Conveniently situated within walking distance to Queen Victoria market and the Central Business District, our accommodation is ideal for leisure travelers and corporate clientele. We provide a range of accommodation including studio, 1 and 2 bedroom self contained apartments. Bold articulated metal building facade with energy sustainability interior concept, we pride ourselves to be the first apartments building in Melbourne accredited with 7.5 stars energy rated. Among other features, we have incorporates double glazing windows and highly insulated walls to maintain a comfortable temperature indoor no matter what Melbourne has to offer.

Getting there:
Carlton Residence is located on 77 Bouverie Street, between Victoria Street & Queensberry Street and about 5 mins walk to Melbourne CBD. The closest train station is Melbourne Central. Taxi from the airport to Carlton Residence will cost approximately $60. Alternatively, you can take the Skybus from Melbourne Airport to Melbourne city terminal at Southern Cross Station (Spencer Street). You can then take the SkyBus Hotel Transfer service, which takes you direct to our doorstep (No booking is required). The SkyBus Hotel Service operating hours (Mon to Fri: 6am - 9:30pm, Sat, Sun & Pub Hols: 7:30am - 5:30pm). By car - 26km from Tullamarine Airport - Travel along the Tullamarine Freeway turn left onto Flemington Road. Turn left at Grattan Street, right at Bouverie Street. Carlton Residence is located on your right.

Check-in Procedure:
Reception Hours: 8.00am - 10pm. For guest arriving outside the reception hours, self check-in key safe is available. *Contact hotel prior to obtain key safe security code. Please note a VALID PHOTO ID & $150.00 KEY/SECURITY PRE-AUTHORISATION is required on check in. Balance of accommodation is payable on check in.

Car parking:
No parking facilities. However, there is on-street metered parking near property.

Useful but not quite 'friendly' staff, I'd suspect a uni student making a few extra dollars. The Residence is very contemporary and has a small ecological footprint due to its innovative architecture and room fittings. It is in the most ideal location if you want to use it as a base to walk into the city. It is in a quiet part of the CBD and is exceptional value for money given that there is no on-site parking [use the street but take plenty of change for the meters], uninspiring views and has some permanent residents who cook quite aromatic meals that waft through the open breezeways between between rooms.

I was only at the hotel overnight, arriving late and leaving early. The staff was just excellent, going above and beyond to help with every request I had! I'll stay here again when I'm in Melbourne.

Stayed here bc it was affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is close to CBD and easily accessible to the train station. Bouverie Street is quite dark and abandoned at night, so it doesn't feel as safe as other areas. Recommended if you have a travel companion.
