"Actually, this was the worst hotel I had ever seen. The room was with very old furniture, the linen were ragged, the heating was on from time to time, mainly in the evenings. The breakfast was ridiculous. There was only one more room occupied in the entire building.
Please avoid sleeping there. It is like a nightmare and even the budget price, you could fine a better place." - Milen Glushkov
"Price great, service, couldn't fault it.
Location fabulous:- 173 bus from Keleti station, 10mins walk to metro, 6 to tram stop...
OK... for the 1st time i had to pay the balance there rather than pay thru here... they do not take credit cards so have HUF or EUR with you in cash.
ROOM-the spring was loose in the bed so digging into me until i put another quilt under me. NO satellite TV: 8 channels, only 3 worked and were all in Hungarian... not an issue really but it was advertised as satellite in all rooms. I put my empty bag on top of the cupboard- bad mistake as it was covered in dust. Also very very thin walls.... R-rated soundtrack the 1st night, thankfully only for a few minutes.
Had the location been worse or the staff unpleasant I would have gone elsewhere... as it was I was only there for 1 whole day, 2 nights, so I stayed put without complaint. I would however NOT stay there again.
The price was OK.... the 3 star rating was VERY optimistic." - Anonymous
"Nice place, old but functional.
Staff we're good, still a bit of a problem with English but overall good service.
Great resturant nearby, but like all of Budapest dont expect any internet or laundry service anywhere thats any good. " - Anonymous
"Good for overnight, good price, worse conditions, but great receptionist ;-)" - Anonymous
