"Grand semi-elegant older hotel in the main street of town. Well located for walking to city sights. Rooms are well equipped, however appear simple compared to the standard the hotel presents itself as when you look at the lobby. Like all of Europe, rooms are expensive compared to US/Australia/NZ/Canada for example, but good value for money. Recommended. " - Ross Simpson
"I was dissapointed in the hotel staff. They were all rushed, unhappy, and moody. I did not feel like a guest at Hotel Carmen, the staff made me unwelcome. The only good part of my hotel experience was the buffet." - Federick Gonzalez
"Liked the morning breakfast. Service was nice and friendly. " - Philana Chen
"The only flaw in this hotel was that the room was small and dark, and smelled of smoke, probably because of the former tenants. However, this is definitely compensated by the very nice terrace, with bar and swimming pool, which is an excellent spot for cooling down during the hot hours of the day, and for having a drink before sunset. Another bonus is the breakfast, that was excellent in terms of both quality and quantity. The hotel is located just outside the city centre, in one of the more elegant streets of Granada." - Cristian Brocchieri
