Getting there:From the airport it will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the apartments by car or taxi. The airport is located on Sir Donald Bradman Drive. Head towards the City along Sir Donald Bradman Drive,turn right onto West Terrace and then left onto Wright Street; this street merges into Carrington Street. The Windsor apartment complex is located on the left hand side just after the Pulteney Street intersection. After checking in at the Windsor Apartments you will find the Carrington Gardens Apartments located a short walk through the neighbouring Windsor Apartment complex.
Check-in Procedure:Check in at the Windsor Apartments located at 188 Carrington Street, Adelaide. Office Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-21:00. Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays 08:00-18:00. If arriving after these hours please contact reception with the number given on your confirmation voucher during office hours to obtain the after hours check in procedure.
Car parking:Complimentary parking is available on a request basis and subject to availability on arrival. Maximum of one parking space per apartment.
Child Policy:Rates based on existing bedding. In select complexes, cots/high chairs at additional cost of $5.50 per night, subject to availability. Please note that we do not supply extra beds.
Had a great stay at this hotel with my family. Fantastic location, a very well priced and apartment and it was exactly what we wanted. We were able to easily explore the city, any issues we had were rectified immediately by reception and we would recommend anyone who wants a clean, convenient room in the city to stay here. The apartments can vary is size though so if you need a little extra room you may need to negotiate with the hotel.
Room was nice and clean, the staff were helpful and the garbage disposal unit was quite amusing
Fully furnished and self contained two bedroom apartment with full kitchen, laundry facilities, dining and lounge. All apartments also offer a private balcony.
The room was exactly as expected from reading other reports, spacious apartment, great location, good value, but carpet and walls were quite soiled. All considered we would stay here again.
Unfortunately there is a building program on at present (April 2003), this made for a rather noisy time during the day, also not all facilities were available because of the construction. However, it was a great location - short walk to Chinatown, markets, shopping, parks, tram. The double unit was clean and comfortable, well stocked, and staff were always helpful when needed.
A fantastic hotel, I will certainly be recommending the place to family and friends...
