Welcome to "The Carrington" Located in the heart of the city centre the Carrington Sydney City Centre Apartment Hotel has the ideal location. Just 100 metres from the GPO you can't get more central. All the attractions of the city centre are right at your doorstep. Walk down to to the harbour at Circular Quay for the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the breathtaking views of Sydney's harbour. Discover our colonial past at The Rocks and visit the Botanical Gardens with the harbour and city skyline as the backdrop. Darling Harbour is also just a few minutes walk with many attractions such as the Sydney Aquarium, Maritime Museum, Imax theatre and many fine waterfront restaurants and bars where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. All apartments are self contained with full kitchen, bathroom, laundry and lounge/dining facilities.

Getting there:
From the AIRPORT: -You can catch a train directly from the airport into the city, we are less than a block from Wynyard underground railway station. -Airport Shuttles run from the airport and drop off at the door. -Taxis are readily available from the airport. By TRAIN we are less than a block from Wynyard underground railway station. For FERRIES it is a short walk down to the harbour at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. BUS. Major bus interchanges at Wynyard, Town Hall and Circular Quay are all within a short walk. CAR. There is no car parking available at the Carrington. City parking stations are nearby.

Office hours: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm, weekdays and 9 am – 12 noon, weekends. Guests arriving outside these hours need to contact the office for Check-in details.

One Bedroom Apartments : Max 3 persons with 1 x queen bed and 1 x Rollaway bed, 3rd person $22.00/night. The two bedroom apartment : Max 5 persons with 2 x queen beds and 1 x single sofa bed. If fifth person $22.00/night.

In no way a 5 star hotel but the location is fantastic. Close to Rail, Bus & Ferry. For a visitor to Sydney the location is unbeatable.

The apartment looked tired. Every tap washer needed changing and nearly all the cupboard doors in the kitchen were falling off their hinges. The blankets were worn and frayed. The kitchen needed a proper clean. Accommodation though was roomy and spacious and, with the location, was excellent value for money.
