"This hotel can be difficult to find at first. Get off at Amstel Metro station, cross the street where the main tram stop is and go round the corner to your left. Go down the steps round the corner, through the underpass, turn right and continue along James Watt Street and you will eventually reach the hotel. The rooms are clean, breakfast facilities are excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. It is open 24 hours. The hotel is surrounded by high rise office blocks and a motorway, so do not bank on getting a picturesque view from your hotel window. It is about 40 minutes to an hour by foot from the city centre so if you are out after the public transport is shut you will have a long walk back to the hotel. However, it is very easy to get to before the metro shuts down. It is a no smoking hotel, but the rooms don't have smoke alarms in them. There is a television in each room. I would recommend the hotel for it's friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms." - Anonymous
"During my 6 nights stay at Casa 400 Hotel, I found the employees there very friendly. They help the customers in all their needs. the only things I didn't like about staying there is the lack of satellite channels in the TV (only terrestrial channels) and the Internet wasn't free (2.5 euros per hour and 10 euros per day).
I highly recommend staying at this hotel in the summer since it is only a summer hotel from June until 1 October. " - Anonymous
"Friendly staff who spoke excellent English, clean and well kept close to the Amstel Train and Bus station.....however, wasn't overly good value for money. For the price, free internet should've been a given." - Gareth Craze
"We were offered fresh fruit for breakfast at the beginning of the week but none after.
The hotel gives a tired appearance, and could do with a freshener." - Anonymous
