This hotel has inviting staff, a nice, quite but beautiful location, and was very comfortable!
This hotel is OK for the price the beds and pillows are hard. Construction was going on in the remodeling of the restaurant, lots of pownding going on starting at around 9:00 AM till about 5:00 PM
I really enjoyed my stay at Casa de la Condesa. However, they have a sister hotel Condesa Reforma, and taxi drivers and car services get confused, so have the address and keep saying Plaza Luis Cabrera. Hotel is located across the street from University of London, Mexico City. While at the hotel, a TV commercial was being filmed. Friendly staff, too. I had BIG problems with other ORBITZ services booked at the same time, however.
The beds were too small for two people, and it smelled like sewer in the room
The hotel was good. The staff was helpful. The location was within walking distance to some really good food. We would stay again. My only complaints I was told free airport shuttle ended up 150mxn but was worth it. My biggest gripe was the bed and pillows HARD as ROCKS my wife and I both got headaches from the pillows the bed was expected a little hard but not a box spring on a frame. They only serve breakfast but no worries great food down the block to the right paris cafe. Change out beds and this would be a great hotel. I would and plan a trip back.
Nice small Hotel, in general it was ok, personell was helpful. Great location in a quiet but accesible neigborhood.
It is simple, but well located. Theet employees are very to talk to and to get informations. They should have more printed matters about the city and more options about the sightseeings. The breafast is not worth...
Very nice and quiet hotel in Italian area (Zona Roma). Many cafes and restaurants with italian and mexican food. Not so far from the centre. Place for persons tired of being in the loud city center, wanting to rest in the peacefool and green area. Room facilities include a kitchen (with fridge microwave owen) and a bar. It was a nice surprise.
While clean and freshly decorated, the hotel in general and our room in particular (I cannot speak of any others) had not undergone a major re-fit for perhaps 30 years or more, and it showed. The hotel is not central, though suited us because we were visiting our daughter in that area. Very little English spoken by the staff, though they were friendly and helpful and no probelm was encountered. The bed was clean and comfortable, the room was quiet. As a place to sleep in Mexico City it was perfeclty adequate, and excellent value.
Its a very nice place located in a very quiet place. We really feels safe and at home in this hotel. The service is good and the people are kind.
Fantastic location! We were initially booked into a suite overlooking the courtyard and other buildings but were able to switch to a very nice room overlooking the plaza. This is an older building that has been maintained well and it is in a superb location that is very central to everything. Easy walk to local restaurants and metro stops, frequent cabs and safe.
The room was comfortable, had a mini kitchen and a couch. The breakfast service was disorganized and slow but the food was good. An Italian restaurant down the block was fabulous. If you ask for a taxi at the front desk you will get an unmarked car and the driver is a buddy of the desk clerk. It will cost about 30 pesos more than the taxi you get at the airport to take you to the hotel and it is not allowed in the taxi area. I would definitely stay there again but get my own taxi.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great location, clean parks and streets, a helpful staff that speaks pretty good english.
Good location close to the most interesting areas of Mexico City. Very good neibhorhood. Interior rooms are the least interesting : small and no exterior window.
The location is excellent and the staff is very helpfull.
This is a great place to stay. The location of the hotel is amazing, on a beautiful saure with beautiful trees and water fountains. What impressed me most was the friendliness of the staff. They went above and beyond what was expected and were extremely kind and courteous.
I would rate this hotel as average, one of the biggest concerns for me was that the main door in the room id not have an adecuate lock for security. The TV on the high stand was also uncomfortable... and the shower head was much too big for the shower... No big complaints, only details that made my stay a bitt uncomfortable.
Nice small hotel on a quiet plaza in the Roma neighborhood. Most rooms are mini-suites with a kitchnette. Only disadvantage is the nearest metros are about 10-15 minutes away in reputedly slightly dodgy areas (at night). However, the Insurgentes metro is only a little farther away. Easy walk to Av. Alvaro Obregon or in another direction to Condesa neighborhood. Recommended for budget travellers or those seeking longer term accommodation.
nice hotel in a quiet area, yet not too far from the centre of Mexico City. Free wireless internet.
great hotel. Excellent location; beautiful small park in front. Close to everything, lots of restaurants close by. Good deal.
