"The staff at the hotel were absolutely fabulous. We missed our flight and had a terrible time getting to the hotel and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is very hard to find but a quick phone call and someone came out to meet us. The hotel is in an absolutely fabulous location, pretty much equi-distant between St Marks and Rialto both easily accessible on foot. The room and breakfast was fairly basic but everything you need and compared to other hotels this is really good value. Would def recommend." - Catriona Geraghty

Our rooms are located in an ancient palace, the seventeenth century home of a noble Venetian family from which, after a skilful and careful restoration, nine rooms have been obtained each finely furnished with epoch furniture.While still retaining the magical atmosphere of seventeenth century Venice, the most advanced technology has been used to better our guests’ stay.
All the rooms are protected by a magnetic key-card, and they are supplied with air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct-line telephone, safe , fridge-bar and hairdryer.

Waterbus n° 1 or 82 get off at Rialto stop, go along a few meters to Campo San Bartolomeo. Then Sottoportico della Bissa and walk along all of Salizzada San Lio at the end turn left, after you have gone over a bridge follow the canal side until you reach the Locanda.

For check in operation, after 7.00 p.m., you have to ring the bell on th entrance door: somebody of Locanda La Corte, our main Palace just 90 meters from Locanda Santa Maria Formosa, will come to make check in operations.
