CASA ZANZIBAR offers: swimming-pool,spaceous garden, a large common sitting-room.
Casa Zanzibar offers 6 double rooms, each with ensuite bathroom,individually operated air-conditioning /heating, multilingual TV-Satellite, personal safe. Each room is decorated in a different manner with a different theme.
Possibility to put an extra bed in the room, only for children above 6 and maximum 10 years old.
CASA ZANZIBAR is a bed and breakfast establishment. Therefore there is no possibility to use the kitchen, and meals are only served if you made a previous reservation. Price for dinner is 18 Euros per person (drinks and taxes excluded). Alternatively, there are numerous bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. Cold soft drinks can be bought at any time of the day.
SURROUNDING AREA DESCRIPTION: Besides the cork-based handicrafts, you will find ceramic and wooden artefacts, embroidery and tapestry, porcelain and plaster painting, textiles and fabrics and also tiles. But our sub-district mainly expresses itself in its country produce, clearly evident as you roam the area:Pine nuts, oranges, cheeses and wine.

At Casa Zanzibar the payment is made at the arrival.

OPTION A
Take a car/taxi and the highway direction vora /Spain, then direction to Marateca, finally when you pass the pay-ticket office, turn to Peges/Evora direction. Look for the sign LANDEIRA, turn right, go straight down approx. 2km and turn left when you see the sign NICOLAUS.Drive down 400 m. and you will enter in NICOLAUS. Look on the right side and see a big house with a swimming-pool in front: this is Casa Zanzibar.
OPTION B
Take a bus from ESTAO ORIENTE to Setbal, then take a taxi to Nicolaus.
OPTION C
Take the TRAIN, from the GARE DO ORIENTE to the city of VENDAS NOVAS, and then take a taxi from Vendas Novas to Nicolaus. NOTE THAT when you come out of the train, you will have to walk down till the end of the road and then turn right. Walk straight down, and nearly at the end of this road, there is a taxi station: it is not too far from the train station (10 minutes walk).
